New livery for Qantaslink Airbus A220A new Airbus A220

An Airbus A220 destined for Qantaslink has ditched the red tail, and has been painted with an indiginous design in blue and green, with the white kangaroo retained. The aircraft is registered VH-X4A and will enter service later this year between Melbourne and Canberra.

Very like VH-ZND, the 787 Dreamliner with the "Yam Dreaming" decoration.  That one retains the red tail, but the red fits in with the painting anyway, as the green does with this one.  I like them both a lot.

It fails the "How it looks from a distance" Test. That's the only view most people get. You usually load and unload at the Aerobridge.   Nev

I don't like it, looks like a flock of fruit bats flew over it.

Perhaps with Q link, Aerobridges are not 100% as it's a  feeder service, . All that's recognisable is the "white rat" on the tail.  Nev

There is no logic to determine artistic taste. I reckon it looks good.

Like the idea, it provides a distinct Aussie flavour.

 

However to be realistic it should just be dollar signs all over with images of crossed out aircraft for all the ghost flights.

 

The tail should be a pirate flag.

 

Now that's the real Qantas we know and hate.
