    i never missed an episode of the inventors when i was a kid. i got a letter and a t shirt from them for sending in a drawing of my automatic sheep shearer. amazing tech, it looked like a big box, sheep went in one end and walked out the other end fully shawn. don't know where the wool went though.

    i think you are talking about the mounting bolts. if you look at the service bulletin danny posted there are 2 long bolts , no pin.

    How often do you need a new starter. I would rather pay the extra and get the real thing. Swapping consumables for the same quality but cheaper makes sense.

    you can buy good electric petrol pumps cheap now. make yourself a trolley with a drum on it then no more holding cans up.

    i was told the upgrade kit is the way to go. you can't do much with the old brakes.

    its on facebook for 5k now. good buy if the rotec is in good condition. which it might be if it wasn't running at time of impact.

    Great to hear. You will find Jared and Darren the head techs at raaus are terrific to deal with. Very handy to talk to if unsure of anything.

    I agree. Assuming it is raa rego and a factory built certified aircraft he may have to zero time the engine anyway. Experimental is the way to go. Then a lot of those rules don't apply.

    you might want to check that nev. pretty sure perth has higher annual rainfall than melbourne, they get it over a short period , melbournes rain is spread over 362 days.😀

    i always thought geraldton and esperance were the windiest towns but apparently port welshpool vic holds the title.

    thats pretty much what we have done but the family all like it over here . i miss the laid back lifestyle and the fishing. we lived in little grove. good luck with the move. its a nice area you are moving to anyway.
