  1. Mick re.#22 What I was referring to, Survey done and you spoke up, great to see. Just added a bit more about speaking up. F_T I will have to work very hard to appease you but given time anything is achievable. KP
  2. Thank you Yen, we are all members of RAAus and do have views. We need to read to comprehend and understand not just read to reply. The question, "Who's views were used as guidance to get where RAAus is now?" Hmmmmmmmm.? Just think about it? RAAus board and management would not be in such a mess if they had listened to the members not their experts. Normally experts get us into deeper do do. KP.
  3. What a disgrace.. The new tech manual was formulated and sent off to CASA for ratification all in secret, only time we heard about it when the thing was released to the membership. Frank had some very good suggestions and he was ignored. Hence what is being hidden in that manual. Before any yelling .... Just have a read of the thing.. Looks like a police force wrote it. Even if CASA wrote it they would have sent it out as a NPRM first up. Not -- Here it we will fix it if need be. KP
  4. I will stick up for Frank here. Cast your memory back a little - Frank was on the board for a brief time during the transition from what we had to what is now. The other part of the equation what was going on that we weren't told about. Frank is aware of what went on. Simply put the members could smell a rat but could not find it. Now they are after sympathy via this survey. KP
  5. What about the Harleys, they would be the noisiest on the road? KP.
  6. How did that happen? Arrive after the close of flight documenting? KP
  7. Hello FT, Looks like Wellcamp is picking up speed for international produce. KP
  8. A little bit of drum beating we are still working away developing ELAAA will be exciting times ahead -- all coming together slowly. Will keep every one informed as to our progress. KP
  9. Yes Cosmick there you go how could some one twist that up some much. Now how much do you trust ATSB "OR" Is there some bureaucrat being looked after? KP.
  10. Hello Geoff13 #4 The legal system for some reason they think time frames do not involve them fellows every one else has to abide by time frames. "On time", "Time schedules", "Submission dates", "Closing dates"... those terms are not in their vocabulary but get an "Extension" by gosh that is. They are getting paid by time --- however the rest of use do not get a brass razoo by waiting. To me Turbo, up-into-the-air is referring to "waiting time" and "procrastination" which both organisations are good at. KP
  11. I must confess I am not up to speed on the change for the medicals. However I was hearing all was on track for the change and going ahead. "Great". Now I hear there is a NPRM out regarding these changes. "Why??????????" What I do ask, "Is there some bureaucrats looking after their pay number?" What I have gleaned out of how CASA works if some bureaucrat does not want something they send it out to a NPRM then it will never happen as NPRMs take ages to finalise even years and people give up through lack of tenacity. The transport minister should jump in here, "Do this and this if it dose not happen start lopping the tree from the top. KP
  12. Hello Ron 5335, What will go wrong????????????????????????????? Who will fed the drongos????????????????????. We could drop the pollies off list for aid to be fed. When they discover they are delisted to be fed we may get action. KP
  13. You on to it Col, How would Australia been developed if the stupid profit attitude been around when the pioneers put rail, phones, roads etc. etc together. Too much empathise is put on immediate profit instead of the long term picture.. Statutory obligation would fix it you know. With profit profit and more profit the long term picture is shrinking.. The rural industries are going and everyone is congregating more and more into the large cities, what is going to happen when the cities burst at the seams and no one in the bush. KP
  14. Good luck to you Col, I have found them just as bad as Telstra and when I go out into the diglies only service which works out there is Telstra. KP
  15. Whacko how things change. I was talking to a news agent the other day. He was telling me there is a trend developing back to paper magazines. So this digital experiment with these magazine producers is not as exciting as they thought, wonder what the news papers have discovered. Just stop and think. To get digital we must have internet service, the other big one who pays for this data and data time, the only real winner is the magazine producer. A magazine can be transported from shed to shed house to house and then be handed about. Tablets take managing:- electricity to charge, purchase data time, not all people can see what is on the phone. KP
  16. Good Morning ave8rr.. We are batting for 760kg. The extra 10kg will allow extra freedoms and compliances. We are back on the drawing board with that one the good news, not all lights are out, there is hope, however it is fun times. KP.
  17. Good Morning Dinga. The answer to your question. At the moment it is:- "No", as people do have a choice. There are two organisations administering Microlights:- *RAAus and HGFA. Regards, KP
  18. Thank you Neil, They were good words of encouragement. We will not be caught lying however if a non truth get out please let us know quick as it will be a case of an incorrect interpretation. We are progressing along slowly however the helicopters are the game changer. KP
  19. The answer to your questions is, "Yes" x 2. As we speak - the paper work is with CASA and is getting a favourable response. The other part of ELAAA we will be administering the small end of non commercial helicopters. KP
  20. Hello Kyle, You are correct regarding heart conditions. The people with undiagnosed heart problems are at a big risk. What I have seen and witnessed and the situations were not good outcomes for the victims. Hence the biggest unannounced heart problems come from the undiagnosed brigade. The people with diagnosed problems get warnings during their monitoring process and actions are taken to correct the problem forthwith. Oh! I tell you all when a heart problem is detected "monitoring" becomes a way of life. KP
  21. We were doing so well, however the registration register has gone back to the drawing board. The change of CASA directors has given us more work however no one has ever drowned in their own sweat. as soon as there is a clear path ahead I will let everyone know. No one wants to step outside the square. KP.
  22. ELAAA will be looking after the experimental helicopters as well. KP
