  3. You need one of these, using your fingers on the knurled part , hold the serrated end on the rivet head , then drill through centre of tool with a bit slightly smaller than rivet . dont know the brand name but got it from america a few years ago. works a treat. cheers , tony

  5. Poor Yuri Gagarin forgotten already.
  6. dazza you may be thinking of the RAAF mirage A3-70 from 3 squadron . on 30 oct 1968 it was shot down by a ricochet from its own 30mm cannon. i was on crash crew that day so went to the crash site, amazing , the whole aircraft buried in a creator of ash with cannon shells exploding every so often.

  14. hi kiwi, still no word on radio interface (over 4 weeks since returned ) hope i don't have to wait7 week,s like you. merc
  15. i just bought micro aviation headsets and interface from mendelssohns ($1750 ouch!) is it any good? don't know, interface faulty, returned , awaiting outcome.
  16. cloudsuck,i made no mention of the legality or otherwise of the drifter at i-wood. i was referring to the posts stating a thruster was doing aero's. As there was only one thruster at the fly in, that is a slight on the pilot.
  17. Well said JG3. It's a pity people don't check the facts before posting or assuming someone Else's post is correct. I was also at Inglewood and didn't see any aero's by the thruster, the pilot of which is due an apology.
