  5. yes deastick there are a lot of bloody good lame"s l2 l3 l4 who are being brought down by some dipsticks that were not brought to account by past regulators off our office you are not the only one thinking is it worth it being an l2 deastick said such a shame that we are not allowed to contribute to the direction of our group i totally agree with you but some off what daren is doing is already in our rules not all but some I have been in personal contact with quite a few and like you they are astounded at what and how the repairs to my aircraft were carried out what has got to me is the fact that I have all the evidence off none compliance off the lame l2 l3 that did the work and nobody from casa raa will look at it if it is to big for RAA why have they not put it to casa I did send a lot of paper work to raa photos included why have they not passed this on to casa neil

  9. this could end very badly if it In the past Courts of Law have also questioned the maintenance practices of RAAus. I anticipate we will have between 4-6 Coronial enquiries in the next 2 years looking at all aspects of RAAus, including maintenance. If any of those enquiries lay blame on RAAus then a civil matter seeking compensation is likely to follow. If hypothetically that civil matter is successful and there was a finding in relation to L2 maintenance failure, then upon further discovery it is shown that RAAus does not even follow its own rules ie tech manual then that could very well be the end of our great organisation. We have improved dramatically in the last 12 months, we need to continue down that road. Sometimes a little pain now is better than a lot forced on you later on. one would have jumped on me for what I have written about work done by lame l2 l3 so why have you not bounced me out off raa This whole process is not new. It has been in the tech manual for ages. It just has never had a Tech Manager ensuring the Tech Manual is followed as per their employment requirement. As an active restricted L2 I can personally say I have seen work performed by other L2's that has far from impressed me. I have been involved in several repairs as the second person and there is nothing worse! I have met some members with a 'I'll give it a go" attitude. Thats ok for working on a go-kart but a plane! yes spriteah that is the reason failure to abide by our rules is going to bite us at some point opps it already has had I been tec manager for raa when i first got wind of a situation like mine where bad publicity was not doing my organization any good at all I would got it out off the publics eyes very quickly I am not blaming anybody as the problem was systemic years ago when raa started handing out l2 licences to people that could not read our rules neil

  14. yes stearman their is statistical proof how many accidents in the last year never mind the rego crap we as an organization haft to start telling it as it is there is to many planes that do not comply with our regs notice I said our regs yes our regs what you are saying is pure guess work were are your stats to prove that lack off maintenance is not the problem I am lucky that I am not in a box 6 feet under ground through maintenance as one instructor said you either stupid or a good pilot rego delays also include maintenance that was in a lot cases involved weight and balance not done props not suited to plane neil

  16. how about lame that sighned out ga plane with prop 6 months out of time or the bloke with that bought the drifter with mended spar or the l2 l3 that replaced steering rods in a 24 reg aircraft from bearing services how many more do you want how about the lame l2 l3 telling me that 912 motors don't have return line to tank when shown in rotax installation manual said that's bullxxxx they don't have to have that neil

  18. flysynthesis storch s 912 s 80 hp I was landing into a paddock and failed to see power wires power wires tore off nose wheel I then flew 5 nm and landed on a strip with no nose wheel I landed use power as I no that I could land at 40 knts very safely by leaning back in the seat I kept the nose up in the air when I reached for magy switch it went on to the nose tail was near vertical right hand wing slammed in to the ground broke the prop broke the windscreen broke off fin under tail through keeping nose so high parts ordered were new prop new right hand wing tip new wind screen new fuel gasculator new nose wheel and olio new fin on tail new door now the l2 l3 could not get the eltric flaps indercator to work nor could he get the egt to work and told me to fly the plane to melb [removed] sighned out aircraft found by another l2 l3 after repaires done rigging out 20 25 degrees leading edge off right hand wing cracked windscreen not installed properly mod to gasculator not legal bent undercarriage bent legs loose engine bolts not torqued to engine frame bent engine frame from prop strike no weight and balance done bent rudder peddles return fuel line not on air craft as should be on all 912 engines new right hand wing tip was not put on plane as l2 l3 could make it fit neil
  19. the written contract for the repaires was with ME and [removed] the repairer LAME plus l2 l3 vero insurance was the insurer I refused to sighn the release form so as they VERO could pay [removed] that was feb 2008 I HAVE NEVER SIGHNED THE RELEASE FORM I was abused by [removed] about not sighning release form but vero paid [removed] without my knowledge casa wrote back to my solicitor and said civil mater take it to raa donkin wrote back to my solicitor civil mater in court it was stated that the repairer did not have any repair manuals at all neil ps their is only one tec bloke that was looking at our problem I was willing to pay for his in put to assessing the problem with my plane and he was sacked how would you explain my plane that I did own as a garden ornament bit embarasing for aviation I would say neil Neil, On advice from a qualified legal professional, names have been removed and will continue to be so. - Mod

In your case, if you fly into a wire and talk about it enough, someone from CASA is likely to notice and charge you with flying below 500 feet, me bloody ladder aint that tall so how do I get out off plane sold me shute 40 year ago read my report buddy You had your day in Court before a Magistrate who ruled on your allegations, so you take a risk continuing to rubbish them, and question the Magistrate's decision had raa tec manager done an inspection of the work carried by a l2 l3 appointed by raa to repair said plane as I see this is a failure by duty of care accreaditation by raa there for makes them raa bound by law to be responsible to ensure that planes fixed or repaired by their agent to meet the airworthy requirements neil
  22. what turbs your saying is a load of buxx dust how in the hell is casa going to find you so my reporting of my incident is differant to you flying in to cloud had I not reported I would just shut up one rule for you both cases are duty bound by P I C the person to report it in both cases some can die what would you say had I just put my plane at Bendigo on cross hire and the plane crashed and killed some one as it was legal for me to do all I had to do was fly to Bendigo contract was ready to go as mortz says Some bordering on downright stupidity and I fit that bill law to report all incidents and accidents but it apparently is not law to report a bad lame l2 l3 is what you are saying turbs human factors but my experience has been that the ones that poo pooed it the most were the ones who actually NEEDED it the most. yes facthunter totally agree I just wonder how many have flown melb to Darwin in their little plane that is when human factors comes into play my book shows 220 hrs P I C also shows 96 hrs duel some of duel was in different air craft so as I was comfortable flying any sort of aircraft neil

That is not necessarily correct and I can remember in the days of the Department of Transport and Regional Services, or maybe just Transport, when the truck industry was given the ultimatum of building trucks with a braking system beyond known engineering technology - an academic's thought buckle on how good it would be if trucks could stop in the same distance as cars. yes what a load xxxx that was I feel that caused a lot of accidents but who am I me was just a dumb truck driver neil
