  5. andys you are not wrong about the tears you seen what my out burst at Narromine did Shepparton magestraites court neil Bradley v shepair and norm Edwards case no a12327951 29 nov 2012 i think my hard copy went up to raa office some of our regs need a total over haul done by an independent body since when can a l2 modify a gasculator must send that up to Canberra and see if they can do a fuel drain on it oh I suppose putting up photos off the workman ship I mean lack of it will not go through when I learn how to get them on here when I can think straight what I should have done was continued and set up a tent at temora and put on display the aircraft and the photos and how it was repaired but then I would have been banned for bringing raa in to disrepute what pity I did not a certain legal bloke when the xxxxxhit the fan when the pilot incommand refuses to fly the plane aint something wrong and I did own it and wont let some one else try to fly it as he doesn't want him hurt or dead neil
  6. drzoos leaving that one alone moderators any name that I personally use in this discussion have been in court so it is on public record* yes david that sure did my plane did have maintenance release with a lot off the defects on reply 4 but not noted on maintenance release owing to a certain l2 l4 L A M E I am able to write here as he grounded my plane because what HE FOUND would had been my undoing how can [name removed again] repair a plane with no makers specifation what so ever and this was stated in court the l2 l4 that grounded my plane requested from the manifactor all specs and got them 1 yet one l2 l4 says it is airworthy 2 l2 l4 says it is not airworthy so I go on what number one says and everything is ok this where i have to draw the line go with no 1 and I fly knowing that my plane is not flying right yes maj I can just see you shaking your head in the fact that I was stupid enough to fly this aircraft neil *Qualified legal folk recommend to Mods that Storchie not name names on this forum. - mod xox
  7. rgmwa who me write something that is has a hidden meaning some of the above conditions were on a plane an L A M E L 2 L4 told a pilot that the plane was safe to fly after he had repaired it the pilot did fly it but it was hard to control another L A M E L2 L4 on doing a inspection grounded the plane saying QUOTE the only way that this plane leaves this airfield is on a trailer or I repair it or some one else does it is not airworthy UNQUOTE facthunter you are right I should be certified for flying it on what I now know it will be very interesting as I now have sent photos and statements to Daran Barnfeild lets see what our leaders do about [name removed] the l2 l4 who repaired the plane [removed] There really is no difference....it has to be airworthy to be flyable, otherwise it stays put on the ground........Maj... spot on maj this old bloke has learnt one hell off a lesson at a great cost but if it is off some use to someone else hope so neil
  8. thank you rgmwa and escadrille but what I was looking for is examples I/e nose wheele 30 degrees off alignment to rudder flyable not airworthy crack in leading edge of wing flyable not airworthy crack in windscreen flyable not airworthy flap indercator not working flyable not airworthy E G T not working flyable not airworthy no weight and balance not done flyable not airworthy no return line to tank on a rotax 912 flyable not airworthy hyphens left out flyable not airworthy placards not on the plane flyable not airworthy neil
  9. what is the difference between flyable and airworthy ? this is not a trick question neil
  10. that I have to ask dumb question that I have read the correct answer but I may be wrong :help:neil
  11. methusala I am sorry in one way as to my reaction to your original post but it did bring a lot action it is our regulations that are now biting us as members I agree methusala I am reminded that you can rue the day that small details ceased to be important but until we as an organization start to get together and abide by our rules now change the rules yes but are CASSA going to be helpful yes they are as long as we abide by them our rules as our rules apply to us so we as a group can go flying small things like a pin missing or about to fall out from ailerons or rudder peddle can have a big impact on your life example one night a policeman pulled me up as two lights were not working copped a 200 dollar fine for not having name off last town I had stoped in spelt correctly just a small thing had they been working he stated that he would not have pulled me up as I maybe wrong if the rule is not in our rules for exemption you then abide by CASSA RULES example carriage of flight manual for that type of aircraft you are flying was not in our rules this has been the doing off those at the very top by not telling us as members the bloody truth about what was going on with CASSA neil
  12. [quote="tur Don't feel too bad we've all either had experiences like this or we'll have them. . exactly neil
  13. farri i agree:oh yeah: neil
  14. I stand to be corrected how many instuctors use the trial instruction form in short TIF before taking up a new student as one off the old blokes god rest his soul said to me when the ops manual for recreational flying was written they had to make things look good to CASSA and now because off some idiots and imbersiles not doing as stated in our manuals we are getting full payback aint pay back a bitch neil
  15. thommo storch flight manual page 28 20 12 o6 before starting engine fuel faucets lh open rh closed this is so what you have said does not happen after 20 minutes of flight turn on right hand tank i stand to be corrected tecnam sports star Texan and a couple of others state this in flight manual neil
  16. sorry thommo as I see this you would be against installation manual directions so once again through out rotax manual:im stupid: neil
  17. mind numbing pettiness of bureaucracy yes it was us who made this happen read the bloody instructions neil
  18. what is wrong with ramp checks nothing I have been ramp checked twice at wagga once at albury I have had all the relative maps ect in the plane your complaing of ramp checks is only drawing the crows try driving heavey trucks if want checks neil
  19. for aeroplanes from maintenance manual for storch s every variation due to installation of new components or repairs and painting implicate a new calculation of the empty weight and relative positioning of the centre of gravity page 18 30 10 07 so I through out the maintenance manual there for I am not complying to the manufactures directions return line to tank it has been stated to me that this line only takes vapour back to tank by a l2 on several occasion my fuel pressure gauge has been on 7 bars and has had 2 new needle and seats installed by lame l2 l4 in under 150 hrs when in the hell is the training of a l2 going to be more through neil
  20. how hard is it to follow an installation manual rotax installation manual for 912 aircraft engine states that return line to tank is required page 14 -3 date mod 1998 09 01 does your plane have this if you don't is your plane legal weight and balance you have your aircraft repaired or a new gadget put in do you have to do a new weight and balance storch s manual maintenance page 17 30 10 07 every variation needs a new weight and balance as a pilot can you do a weight and balance on a 24 reg aircraft neil
  21. try northern star news not a cessna it looks like jab and is a jab neil
  22. I would not put any additives into any fuel for aircraft i have a feeling rotax warned against same any aircraft engine that is not going to be used for a period must have inhibitor i think that's the word or run to operating temp every so often neil
  23. get your wing loading up a bit... :wink:yeh g g flying up to Darwin in storch had to fill my pockets full of stones :im stupid:some of the lifts up there were breath taking neil

  25. when the weight increase was first dangled in front of some it was booted as a good several were against it they stating that it would bring in more regs I have a feeling the maj was against it maj correct me if I am wrong and I was to against the increase in weight for the same reason more bloody regs I am lucky that I weight 68 kgs on visiting some schools when some of the learners were close to 100 kgs or more my estimation they needed a weight increase to accomadate these over weight persons hey old pilot you would have been a round when group captain john baker wrote the auf manual according to him the same group captain john baker claimed that my plane did not have a heavey landing take a look at the photos in storchy neil photos neil
