  10. in this senaro glide aproach out of the question as your speed would be 10 to 15 knts faster no control as i have been in this situation in my plane when i removed the nose wheel on power wires at berrigan and flew 5 miles from wire strike i did shut the motor down but restarted it as soon as i reliezed that on glide aprouch i would be flying at 65 knts when i know that i can land safely at 45 knts with motor against 65 knts on glide aprouch with motor going you have more control for that what if a wind gust floats you ore wind shear just gets in the way as for cutting motor on touch down you would have buckleys as the ride would be to ruff neil
  11. there is a aircraft at locksley with major defects that was repaired by a lame l2 l4 the repairer claims that a wire strike is not major and does not require heavey landing inspection i dont give a sxxx any more as i am now bank rupt so i cant aford to fly but every time thread like this apears i can say told you so and tried to change the situation neil
  12. to those who say you cant have a plane on trailer and tow it around with out doing damage to it i had a mobile home bedford bus 85 ks an hour (down hill with a tail wind) towing my plane around tyres at 16 to 18 pounds per inch very light springs to suit plane in cradle so as plane was not tied to actual trailer cradle cusioned to take out jaring between trailer and cradle insurance i did have to cover my plane while it was on the trailer and traveling around as well as abitno flight and flying schools warning dont insure with vero insurance refer to storch for sale neil

  17. as was discussed:blah blah: with verious people as far as we can make out their is no regs:book: that state that you connot taxi after last light or before first light safley safley as i have done before first light so as to have smouth air on the flight the one thing that did come out was noise may an issue that is if the exhaust has fallen of the jaby or rotax your safty is the main concern common sence is the issue dont need a new reg:book: neil
