    Can I help at all? I mainly work with SQL but have just done my logbook program using an access database (makes it nice and small to download).

    Funny. I had a mirage crash on sunday. Poor little pilots didn't know what hit em (The damn magpie knew though ;) )

    Congrats. Look in clear prop. Ian has some nice products in there and quite well priced as well. I'm glad you enjoyed the flight. Now to really enjoy the RA experience, go up in a tecnam ;)

    RA is pretty good at getting new cards out. My renewal came out in 2 days. I'm sure they could get one out on short notice if need be.

    I was thinking about this on the weekend. I spoke to a JP who said one of two options: Ideally I was going to take a photocpy of each page and he will sign it then I can keep those in a seperate location. Second though he would do it, wasn't 100% keen until he had seen what was involved., he would sign a computer printout of my hours showing total and confirm that that matches the totals in my logbook (along with endorsements etc.). I am however going to go out and get a fireproof safe at somepoint.

    FYI: Nearly finished a program that everyone will be welcome to have. Give me a couple of weeks to put the usual finishing touches on it and find a place to put it online. It will be free for everyone :) Cheers, Shags

    I am probably going to do my conversion through these guys: Redcliffe Flight Training they have a really nice vh reg eaglet and are really nice. Always more than happy for anyone to stop by and have a look etc.

    I have 25 hours in a cessna 172 and/or cherokee but plan on buying an lsa anyways.

    I'll be doing my ppl's in a Ga register LSA (ie. Tecnam eaglet or something). Can still manage to get RA cost for ppl license, why not.

    Sorry what I meant was the physical removal of data from the GPS. Is there a serial port/usb connection or does it use flash/sd card to store the data?
