What's going on there? Is that a caveat that they have to put in to protect themselves or does it really mean the aircraft cannot be flown? The trailers are the duck's guts too. facthunter Posted November 11, 2021 Share Posted November 11, 2021 Powered gliders have been around for a long time now but don't seem to have "caught on" much. You can't really "taxi" them . It could eliminate the dreaded outlanding with all it's retrieval BOTHER. and you don't need a cast of thousands and the long queue to get in the air. Today I saw one over fly Scamander (east coast of Tassie) When I say 'over', I mean maybe 500' over the road and houses, and it was about 90 degrees to horizontal and made a lot of noise. Wasn't very bright coloured, painted drab. If he thought the camo makes him invisible, he forgot the noise got everyone's attention!
