From a technical point of view ( fuel capacity/burn, etc) Meth was only 255kg, so plenty of room for extra fuel tanks. It may have already had them....... Lot of flight over water in a single-prop aircraft, which must be half full of fuel and half full of drugs... With that much drugs do you need any fuel?
