gareth lacey Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Here is the prop from Ukraine for my build/ engine full carbon fibre with ss edge protection 6
Marty_d Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 One of them is going the wrong way Gareth! (Just kidding, I know you haven't tightened them yet) 1
JG3 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 That's an excellent prop. The best I have tested for STOL aircraft. Results at stolspeed.com 1 1
meglin Posted June 3 Posted June 3 This is a 1755mm (69.1") SAE-2 Right Pull Carbon for Subaru EJ25 160hp. Any results from using it?
FlyBoy1960 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I would be checking it is rated for 160 hp. Most of them are only rated for 115 hp as a maximum. It might pay to are some questions because not all propellers are built the same
gareth lacey Posted June 3 Author Posted June 3 This prop was made for my engine Meglin recieved all the specs and manufactered fit for use,he has a solid rep as a prop maker, prop has not been fitted yet engine requires mapping of ecu will be installing in the next 2 weeks 1 1
meglin Posted June 3 Posted June 3 This propeller has been in service for many years on a gearless O-320 160hp with very harsh conditions for the blades. Operation on a geared motor has much milder conditions both in terms of rpm and torque ripple. 2

Recreational aircraft these days are mostly split between bush stol 70-80kt and faster point to point craft of 130-160kt
