  1. Gary Morgan of Morgan Aeroworks has recently emailed me with details of his latest venture, the four seat Cougar Mk 2 which he has allowed me to forward on to our Forum members. As you can see from the sketch diagram it is similar to the well known Cougar Mk 1 with increased payload up to a MTOW of 950kgs which includes full fuel and two 90kg passengers in the front and two 80kg passengers in the rear. It can cruise at 150 knots and if loaded to 600kg has an approach speed of only 50 knots. As with the other Morgans it can be de-rigged and trailered. Check out the details on the diagram. Alan Marriette (A Morgan fan.)
  2. Forgot about those...must be getting old. Alan.
  3. A Morgan Sierra, well done. . Are you going to paint it in the same colour scheme as your Minimax? They would look really good together especially flying in formation. Alan.
  4. Now there's a turn up for the books, a Cessna with an upside down wing. Looks good though, obviously trying to compete with those fast Morgans. Alan.
  5. Sorry Wayne I obviously have the wrong Wayne Mathews, , so whilst I cannot say that you have also owned Supa Pups like I have, you do own the forerunner to those machines which I also owned, the magnificent J3 Cub. Congratulations on your new position. Alan Marriette.
  6. We had exactly that problem with a good neighbour at Truro Flats Airpark who had ostriches, we now fly well clear of his property, problem solved. Alan. PS I also didn't want to stop my supply of ostrich eggs.
  7. IF my memory serves me correctly, I believe he has built at least three Supa Pups and an Aero Pup. Alan.
  8. Not sure which brand but it will be 98 octane only. Alan.
  9. I would have thought that a Council would have some control at ground level but not have control of the air above, I may be wrong. Alan.
  10. It looks as though some instructors could be busy doing check flights for people who have been grounded and getting a bit rusty, not to mention those in the flooded north east who are really getting 'Rusty'. Dry Alan.
  11. Does that mean we will see you more often ? Alan.
  12. It looks as though we may be getting a Mogas pump at Gawler Airfield in SA. Whoopie. We currently have only Avgas. Alan.
  13. Looks a bit like a baby Pilatus Turbo Porter. Alan.
  14. I like flying 'in formation' which is why I like this forum. Alan.
  15. Drop your legs and wear in-line roller skates.
  16. It seems as though somebody made a couple of boobs. Alan.
  17. The problem can be that the passenger gets killed and his wife sues for loss of husband (loss of income) and if she has children loss of income to raise them without the breadwinner. That can amount to an awful lot of money. Alan.
  18. Heard on the grapevine that Bolly Props are now supplying Jabiru. Alan.
  19. As long as you remain at least 500 inches above ground, below that height you will require the permission of the 'Rabbit Warren's' owner. Alan.
  20. OK Flying Dog, which one is you??? Alan.
  21. Will you be factory building 24 registered aircraft for training. Alan.
  22. If you did do a loop and were flying into a head wind, you would have to recalculate your ETA by adding the time it took to complete the loop plus of course the additional time taken to make up for the distance from your starting point to your new position after the loop which would be further behind due to the head wind pushing you backwards. . You might also topple your gyros which could ruin your sex life. Alan.
  23. I am not a homosexual but have been gay all of my life....I've just always been a happy person. . Alan.
  24. Will you be fitting a steerable nosewheel on the new models? Alan.
  25. A Cessna?? at least it keeps our ultralight reporting clean. Alan.
