  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you, I have resigned to change my mind as the mind I had was failing me badly and I promise to be a good boy at least until the next audit. Could I be re-instated ? Alan.
  2. That is very heart warming news and I'm not trying to be funny. Can't wait to see you back on the Furum. Alan.
  3. You are correct, however, it was a 'mistake' so I will not be resigning from this Forum because it. Alan.
  4. Sorry, I must have missed it somewhere in the paperwork. Alan.
  5. Not legal...where are the numbers.....are you trying to get us another Audit failure? Alan.
  6. The meeting has been called by the Members, so the Members have the right to raise motions from the floor. It is their meeting surely. Alan.
  7. Seems a cow of a place to fly from....if I had been there with my "Guernsey' I could have joined you in the circuit. Alan.
  8. Welcome WWL, did you used to live in Hong Kong as I have a friend over there called Won Wing High. Just my weird sense of humour. Alan.
  9. I used to also follow another aircraft heading for the same destination, but I can't do that now as the Morgan Sierra 6 cylinder is so damn fast that everyone else is behind me. Can't read the road signs either for the same reason. Alan.
  10. Didn't do either in my Supa Pup, I just followed the road signs. Alan.
  11. What building are they using for the meeting and how many people will it hold? Alan.
  12. Couldn't find the Mandatory Rule in question. Alan.
  13. Your right there Nev, I was fairly fortunate as most of my Auster flying was on bitumen runways. Alan.
  14. I think you are correct Nev in fact I believe that some non members are some of the most vocal when discussing Raaus issues but Ian may correct me on this. Alan.
  15. Are single engine single seat in the same group as single engine dual seat.? Alan.
  16. Spriteah, the membership loves you so calls you Jim, the board respect you so they have elevated you to Mr. Congratulations. Alan.
  17. It's interesting that you say that Bob because I had always wanted to play one for many years but believed that I did not have the lungs for the job, having seen some of those big built Aboriginis, however, large lungs are not required as you do not 'blow' into a Didge, you merely vibrate your lips and store your air in your cheeks refilling them as needed, sort of like storing air in the bag pipes. This is known as 'circular breathing' so the sound doesn't stop even when you take a breath. Some ladies can do this when they are talking. . Alan.
  18. He's right you know but check out his Forum Name???? Sorry Mick. Alan.
  19. I could provide a good base beat with my Didgeridoo. Alan.
  20. Go for it OME but make sure you sign up for the 'Taxy' ride rather than the 'Taxi' ride, just in case. Alan. p.s. I suppose that your next ride will be in an Avro Lincoln in Lancashire somewhere.
  21. Happy new year everyone, I'm just about to celebrate the Guernsey New Year as well, they're ten and a half hours behind us, got to go to watch the fireworks on the net. Alan.
  22. You are correct in that copulation was undertaken by the Avro Family so their offspring were known as Avro an Sons. Alan.
