You would have a fair hours up in the jab now don. Great aircraft. The 170 is almost a glider in strong thermals.

A man has been killed in a paraglider crash south-west of Melbourne. Emergency services were called to a paddock at the intersection of Kennys Lane and Rossmoyne Road in Colac West, where police said a man crashed his paraglider just before 9am on Sunday. Emergency services performed CPR but the man died at the scene. The man has not yet been identified. Police will prepare a report for the coroner

I am pretty sure my comment won't be used in court. And the fact that the instructor passed away is fact not speculation. No one seems to think the pilot made a stupid decision to fly in adverse weather. That's just common sense, not training.

Geoff wood was the instructor. He had a stroke and passed away a few weeks ago. He has been training people for decades. I would imagine he had to be pretty confident in Matt's abilities to sign him off.

Yes ,I did buy a Rotax powered jab but sold it and got the xair. I thinks it's more suitable for me for burning around the local area. I do love jabirus though.
