  1. Mastercard advert. Dinner in a Chinese Restaurant = $120.00 Drinks at the Chinese Restaurant = $35.00 Forgetting one of the takeaway containers afterwards = Riceless! .
  2. Wait, you joined in 2009 and decided to post for the very first time just to respond to my post? #Feeling Important.
  3. Yup, been using Skype for years, completely free, write message, speech or video call if you want. One guy even hooked me into his computer direct and we discussed changes in his 3D model as he did the changes live, I don't know how to do that though. Then I got Viber for all my calls, but now WhatsApp is the bee knees (on my phone), again all free and message, speech message or video call. I use Skype if I have larger files to send.
  4. Even just the chute coming out before it deploys creates drag, and even a 1 knot difference might just make a difference.
  5. I use Facebook to keep in contact with Australian friends and family, I tried exploring it for a while but the empowered ignorance out there is insane. Apparently people think that every part of life can be explained buy a 15 word Meme.
  6. Been there twice, and I've laid turf from there, it's plenty supportive as the trucks well prove. Spin training maybe? Plane failure at a guess as he was calling an emergency in whereas you would think he would be too busy fighting the plane to call it in if it was functioning normally? However it seems to me to be yet another case where a BRS could be cited as being a posible aid to the situation. This was a highly trained pilot in a very well maintained aircraft, as was the glider a few weeks ago killing 2, as was the one that spun in a few weeks before that killing the student, so much for the anti-BRS protagonists who cite these 2 factors for not needing a BRS. I have never had a situation to need a seatbelt in my car, I ain't going to stop wearing it either, no one drives or flies expecting to have an accident.
  7. Wow, I reckon this is one of the easiest websites around to attach a picture, and you get to see it and manage their sequence order, or delete them etc. right in front of you before you post your reply.
  8. I would also like editing available to at least 1 hour. Whats Up Oz/Off Topic could in my opinion be solved by membership status, say 30 posts before you can post or even view there. Even then you had to make a formal request with the relevant Mod to join, I have been a member elsewhere with this feature, gives you a feel of the other posters and them for you before you trash, errr I mean reply to them. That's here, called The Paddock Club Autosport Forums
  9. Jetboy, can you not go off topic, thanks.
  10. Who bent over and took it up the, ask me what I really think. They don't even call it the War, they call it the holocaust, because only they suffered apparently, the disrespectful sods. I do, so do many, and many of them died fighting. Closer to 30 million they believe including later deaths due to famine, Winter etc. China around 20 million, the Germans suffered badly, they weren't all Nazis you know, the Poles 6 million but big losers based on percentage of population, and shockingly forgotten in history are the Indonesians who account for 4 million but many more is believed because so many little villages and jungle dwellers were just wiped off the map. The Jews are put closer to 4 million by a number of experts who collect many German War records. The Germans were fastidious at keeping records. These experts are harrassed badly and some have their lives ruined for daring to say anything. A number of been banned from traveling to America to speak for example.
  11. I owned retail workshops for many a year and I know there is always 2 sides of a story. I've had a man try to sue me because he got 2 punctures on the way home after I fixed his car, one car i repaired had a severely mangled accident damaged front mudguard that I accidentally scratched, a little scratch, who then refused to pay for the work until I repaired the whole guard, a long list of great workshop stories like the prostitute that, oh wait, wrong forum for that story. Mate I've seen them all so you'll have to excuse me that your "facts" on an internet page have little meaning to me. Know your audience. If you had a bad trot then I am genuinely sorry, but Party A and Party B rarely set out to achieve that result. I assure you after 20 odd years of dealing with the public that I was somewhat embittered as well, it works both ways. ... and once again, this is not "Jack's" engine, EPI have apparently done some analysis work for them, the engine would appear to have passed their hands now, maybe the client paid their bill?
  12. At no point in this thread has anybody presented it as anything else. I think the prospect, even if eventually not this one, is something to be excited about.
  13. If you read the text you will see that EPI are engineering consultants, it's not their product, and the engine has been run. It is respected around here and has good traction in threads elsewhere in this forum, what's your point?
  14. I always start in the middle because it automatically halves any differences. Then one near each end, then always halving making sure I split the difference of any waves, always get a great finish. Solid advice.
  15. Hope it all goes well for them.
  16. To raise the cost of flying? To drive people away? Are planes currently falling out of the sky due to lack of LAME checks? Can you imagine how often it would feel to an occasional Flyer that a yearly inspection comes around. I take your point, I was horrified with 2 issues, electrical wiring and fuel, on a plane that I purchased that was flown to me, lucky was the words that came to my mind. How about say 2 fellow RAA Members inspect your plane instead? Anyway, I invited myself, and has been accepted, to write something to RAA before and for their meeting with CASA on Wednesday so keep the comments coming before I start writing tonight.
  17. Close to what I am doing. I believe 700 would be great, even 650 would make a considerable difference over 600. Notice the people in that room, many of them would be either side of 100kgs.
  18. Actually banging helps me get a good night's sleep.
  19. I'm laughing at the Pole's Pole poll's poll. I have had a lifetime of the English determining who was best at what in history, just a co-incidence of course that it happens to be them most of the time.
