Great Documentary, have watched many times how sophisticated the planning etc for the day.

Red I have on my computer "Night Bombers" colour documentary inc repairs, 5 hours to change an engine. Briefings, fuel, loading armaments and then the flight. Landing in fog with thousands of liters of fuel being burnt each side of the runway to see and dissipate fog and finally debriefings. Was that doco you saw the same.

I have been traveling west for 40 years and had a couple of hits and many near misses. Last 10 years have used the cheap whistles from supercheap and noticed immediatly the Kangaroo's react differently. They tend to be moving away when you see them in the distance. For less than $10 if the risk is reduced it is worth it. The pitch is higher than you can hear unless maybe your under 18.

Used on PPC Aerochute, I have used on seat beside me used as described by Yenn, worked a treat (same level as main tank). Fuel cap has 'O' ring so sealed system, if fuel cap not airtight would not work

My Aerochute is Factory Built as was my Quicksilver and slb's Airborne, all LSA. Aerochute Industries has already stated maintanance as per Rotax schedule. No manufacturer is going to increase their risk changing this requirement. My flights average 0.5 - 1.0 hrs clocking up 20hrs per year if lucky. Just have to facter in $30 an hour for TBO.

On a LSA what level Lame has to conduct rebuild

I read 12.6 re Piston Engines and Condition reports but have been advised by Manufacturer and RAA must comply Rotax Schedule. Is factory built but not Training aircraft. Advised still adhere Rotax Schedule. Is it different for experimental and Home built ? Many aircraft engine out there especially 2 stroke beyond years.

Mate just had a 582 done at Dalby, cost over $3000

my 503 is at 300 hrs, spoke to Tech Mngr was advised that needs TBO as per Rotax schedule being 300hrs or 5 years. Well Sh1t mine is 13 years old. My question - how would the Insurance Co treat your personal liability claim if your engine is ou of hours/time.

My Wife is a School Teacher and she is INVITED each year to renew her Blue Card. She is reminded that she cannot work without it and if she did she would face fines and or imprisonment. Oh and yes she must let them know if she has been naughty and shouldn't have the card. There would be over 200 staff at her school.

Of course instead of going Kamikazi and flying directly into a full pasenger jet, Terminal or fuel tanks the Terrorist is going to Land and be caught by Authorities because the ASIC was missing.
