I doubt he will do any flying out of ground effect. I kind of hope not anyway.

That sailplane is seriously cracked into pieces. It must have been one hell of a crash. If I am not mistaken we can see the insides of the fuselage.

ASW28 2.65 meters with electric motor. I am thinking of taking the motor out and using it solely for slope flying.

KA8 Scale... just under 2.5 meters span and a cheap foam airframe but these babies fly great on the slope. Yet to be maidened.

Today I did a maiden flight with my Bird Of Time kit built RES (Rudder, Elevator, Spoiler) RC Sailplane. This sailplane was designed in the 70's but retains good performance and killer looks.
