  1. This could be the way forward for some Jabiru owners. What is the landed cost in Australia for a D Motor?
  2. Yes, I too hope it is all sorted (or being sorted) by now.
  3. The manoeuvrability of those SU-35s is very impressive.
  4. I think this is an issue that needs to be carefully weighed up by pilots.
  5. 2016: the Year of the Savannah for you! the Year of the Monkey for many others.
  6. Mark's thread is an excellent one: very informative with many useful hints. More than 76,000 views shows the popularity of this thread!
  7. Does anyone know (roughly) how many D Motors are in use Down Under?
  8. Nice to see you have the Girlfriend flying again, Mark. Are you using the new muffler or are you back to using the original?
  9. I remember Maj writing about them and his opinion was that the weight saving is not worth the risk. An unextinguishable fire is life threatening. However, since then, there are a number of Forum members who have pointed out that there is quite a safety difference between LiPo and LiFe Po batteries. Perhaps someone knows the most up-to-date information?
  10. Ten messages in five years may have triggered Ian's computer to keep you at New Member status?
  11. Yes I like it too. It still has a "new" look
  12. Good to hear about your Savanah. We'd all appreciate some pictures at some stage!
  13. A bug at 2,500 feet? I'm sure that bug is still completing his/her Nav training.
  14. Is there a lot of work adapting the X-Air to a 912 ULS?
  15. Good things are definitely worth waiting for.
  16. That should make your Hanuman a VSTOL plane!
  17. The gold plated appearance looks pretty cool.
  18. Geoff, is that the 100 hp version? (or the 80 hp Rotax)?
  19. I am glad you have had such a positive experience with the X-Air H. What engine ended up in her after all that?
  20. I was wondering that myself. Presumably Rotax was intended as they're more common than the Rotec.
