Deskpilot
Hi P47, I've just read your thread (no idea why I haven't before) and I have to congratulate you on your progress. Really nice work there. Now, it seems that you didn't get an answer to your question re the seat covers. Mine aren't quite the same but I bought the on e bay along with the matching rally seat. the seat is polypropylene and weighs 4 to 5 klg if memory serves me right.

Deskpilot
My, that was a hard one to answer. Had to search back over a year but finally found the link. Try this e-bay page. There are several sellers but watch the price. planet47
No - not at all In late February I put a photo of the fuel tanks on this thread and they are wing tanks
Deskpilot
are you using that seat as a fuel tank? Hi FT, if you were asking me, the answer is no. A proper tank seat would be too high. I've had to modify mine, and it's still too high and too far forward..

ClintonB
With you dual controls and pedals spaced that way in the picture are you seating in tandem offset to the side? Just curious cheers clint
pylon500
With you dual controls and pedals spaced that way in the picture are you seating in tandem offset to the side? Just curiouscheers clint Generally referred to as 'staggered seating'. Not very common, but quite logical for a 'forward seated' aircraft. Mainly done for simplified CofG situations, shouldn't need to carry adjustment ballast.
