Hi M61A1, would you be able to cite some of the studies? Google is a big place and, until we see some, we won't be able to know what studies you are mentioning.

Basing your life philosophy on a US military study entitled "Intelligence and Accidents: A Multilevel Model" where "recruits" are regularly given the choice of serving in the armed forces or serving time in jail by judges.

I get tested for a lot of things.

As for a"cushy defence life", I have friends in other defence forces including the US, and I get the impression that you don't know much about any of them.

The US military didn't invent that philosophy. Good old Charlie Darwin did.

It does have a lot to do with the OP though, about the importance of documenting what you tried to teach people that are hell bent on removing themselves from the gene pool, so that when the do, your butt is covered ( to a degree). It just reduces the chances of the ambulance chasers filling their coffers with the results of your hard work.
