The Oaks redevelopment?

Certainly needed but with a few looming problems to surmount. Aircraft noise over Sydney will be an ongoing problem with Badgery's Creek opening that won't endear the population to any thing to do with Planes of any kind.  PLUS who wants to be involved with flooding?  Nev

That was just to show where residences and hangars would go. Werriberri Creek has a very large catchment area upstream from the airfield, and the whole area is subject to intense summer thunderstorms from the southwest and Tasman Lows from the southeast.

I thought the "residence" were to be on the sides of the X strip and the hotel/motel down near the existing entrance

That's looking better, but take a look at the Victorian Planning Scheme process starting with this link.

 

From here you choose the appliable Council and you get all the sub groups, then you input the address and you'll get the current status and about four reports.

 

To find out what the Developer is applying for, as I mentioned there is usually an online link where you can input the address and find our what permits have been issued in the past, and what their status was; approved/withdrawn/refused, and the dates of any current open Applications, and their status/progress and that will show you exactly what is proposed and where. If you can't find that link (and I haven't been able to) on the Council site, it's critical to contact the Council Planning Office and request the details (usually you'll have to go to the office and inspect the documents there.)
