  1. don thanks this is not over yet those blasted proxy votes are a night mare at any AGM they should not be allowed attend in person or postal votes only yes I did stay until I lost the plot compleatly at the end thought I could handle it but i was wrong my problems with my plane started with that old guard but I have spoken with Daran no garantees and gentalemans agreement and I feel that may be some good may come off my dummy spit now that it out in the open covering up is only going to make things worst as I said wayne was very concerned as to my problem and the way it was handled at the beginning as was ed herring thank you wayne and ed what was getting to me was the fact that planes were getting damaged and the pilot was to blame some of the l2 getting aprovel after a five minute course should not happen spoke to rotax and showed them a hard copy of their installation manual as some planes do not comply to their installation manual regarding the fitting of rotax motors ie return line to tank the installation manual is not a guide or a recommendation it is an actual installation manual don't follow it at your own risk I was very disappointed that so many did not come back after lunch I wonder will they be the first to complain when the fan dirties the wall again neil

  6. someone qualified should be doing it. jetjr, Yesterday at 8:57 PM Report yes jetjr someone qualified doing it I took my plane out of online hire because some persons wanted to play with it when it was leaking fuel I had two new needle and seat installed in it in under 200 hundred hrs it is rotax s series by a lame l2 l4 this bloke was an expert according to others when it was discovered that there was no return line to tank as stated in the rotax manual it was my fault I lost 2 days hire because I would not let others who are not l2 fix my plane as stated by another person on this forum there are l2 and lame that should not be fixing lawn mowers neil

  10. don't use [removed] as they pay out when the repair contract is between me and the repairer I refused to pay the repairer but he contacted my insurer [removed] and sighned some form and got paid by [removed] as to this day I cannot find out how he got paid on a 24 registered plane the repairer did use parts he got from a bearing service place did not have manifactures repair manual did not have rotax installation manual did not do weight and balance after repair but sighned out air craft as airworthy with no flap indercator egt not working bent under carriage clover leaf hole in engine mount leading edge of wing cracked wind screen cracked mod to fuel system as I had to sell this aircraft to finance court case the powers at casa don't want to know about it biter you bet I am broke I am so as for safty the raa and casa are a joke along with insurance company the bit about doing inspections of lame l4 l2 is complete waste of time covering each others axx warning don't get your plane repaired at [removed] neil Names removed - Mod xox
  11. flyerme made good point with c a s a ramp check I personally have been ramp checked 3 times and had no problems with the c a s a blokes on the ground at the front currant e r s a currant maps mintance release flight plan fuel on board pilot cert flight manual for aircraft if you are not prepared to carry items stay in the shed no you cant refuse a ramp check as I see it that is one statement I personally would not make neil
  12. if you have a Rotax 912 series motor how legal is your plane do you have to have return line to your fuel tank to return excess fuel from carburettors the number of aircraft that do not have this will come as a surprise to some neil

  15. what in the world is it coming to i have been screwed well and truly by the powers at the top they wont examamine the l2 that put my plane together with no makers speceifations at all did not use the rotax specations to replace the motor had he had the manual on the storch s he would have found that in the manual there has to be a return fuel line to the tank had he used the rotax installation manual he woul have found that a return fuel line to tank is required now when i informed raa tec i was told not our reponsability tell the mauafcture about it as for egt the same is in both manuals as i cannot find where rotax have stated that it is not necesary to have the return line not in stalled on all 912 models back to tank now if you have a 912 motor with out return line to tank is it legal neil

  17. i tangled in two wires in the storch s at the same time but only lost the nose wheel he was unlucky the wire was not deflecked down it caugh the main gear thank his luck his wing hit first and absorbed the impact as i said i did not see two wires that went to the house at 500 ft or at 150 ft when i flew over them as the wires did not run from the nearest pole to to house the plane i would say has hit the wires at an angle pulling it down onto the very damaged wing neil

  19. return line going back to the collector tank, my thoughts is that it is right what you have done as that will releive presure on the pump and and float needle neil
  20. maj what in the hell are you on about test pilot rotax manual in your mind sould be not used why would rotax write it in no way is hih modifying a system neil
  21. I'm thinking the 'return line' really doesn't need to return to tank but just recirculate back to behind the pumps to act as a (rather poor) form of pressure relief valve. Any thoughts about that? i personaly would make it return to tank as stated in manual leagal neil
  22. My 912ULS maj my manual show that 912uls fuel will be return to tank also 914 neil

  25. about time 912s have to have return line to tank the:angry: repairer of my aircraft did not have the manuals to my aircraft and there for put lives at risk as it does not have return line to tank at the flying school when it was on cross hire read your manuals dont be like me and assume that your aircraft is as the manual says neil
