  1. Mark, I noticed your detour, I figured at our age it must have been a Bladder break
  2. Hi Cavalon48 (akaFlyer), A much nicer forum
  3. Hang 5, someone may copy and paste to here today
  4. Craig, sorry to hear mate. Condolences to Family and Friends.
  5. Winsor the Aerochute claim is for the 32 rego Aerochute. With the increasing stable of PPC's with Elliptical Chutes some of which can stall, that claim can no longer extend through the entire Group D catagory.
  6. There was a PPG Fatality at Atkinson Dam couple of years ago.
  7. Several news outlets are describing it as a Gyrocopter (Seven, Yahoo, Ten etc), so I suppose they copied each other. I have not found the police media statement yet. They usually just copy that. Here's the picture from Yahoo https://au.news.yahoo.com/qld/a/28283794/man-dies-in-gyrocopter-crash-in-qld/ Attached Files: Theodore.jpg FlyingVizsla, 9 minutes agoReport Flying Vizsla post on parallel thread Certainly looks like a 912uls powered Gyro (PPC's do not have Elevators or Rudder)
  8. The picture is a 912uls Gyro, PPC's do not have Elevators or a Rudder
  9. Yep, got one ta.
  10. Yep, got one ta.
  11. You could imagine the size of the eyeballs watching that drain getting closer.
  12. There is a difference in the skill required. I started group D and then converted to Group A at around 15hrs with Zane Tully. I can tell you its chalk and cheese. Converting from A to D would only require 5hrs max. There is a difference and hence being a different Group can have different requirements.
  13. looked a bit cool or exciting or both or not ..........................
  14. The Male involved has passed away from his injuries.
  15. More detailed report .......... http://www.sunshinecoastdaily.com.au/news/ultra-light-plane-crashes-water-noosa/2590012/

  17. The Asic is a bit like the Blue Card (Kids), each year your invited to renew at a cost. You must of course let them know if you've been naughty and don't deserve it any longer. Oh and yes if you don't renew and you deal with minors you will get fined. So every School Teacher, Swim Coach, Scout Master etc. pays up.
  18. Friend of mine was elected during the Howard era and had a enthusiastic passion to be involved in change armed with optimistic visions. On arrival to Canberra basically told to sit down and shut up and tow the Party line. Why do they even go to Parliament if their vote is foretold. They could stay in their electorate and deal with local maters, save the expense of housing and travel and wages for the whole entorage, in fact save dollars and sack the entorage. Just note "one vote" to get their proposal through. Is it a fact that Minority parties and Independents are our only chance for a conscience vote ?
  19. Question: Does the Flight Crew inc Pilot go through "Airport Security" each flight ?
  20. Yeah but I plan to get mine signed in person one day
  21. "is" sorry, :cops:stuck out like Dog's BaIIs Hey notice that it's always a convert. Those born to it must have more sense.
  22. Gone quiet............................................................................... Just so that we don't have any Pilots flying into Mountains, the answer to the riddle was that the word "Mistake" was misspelled. I liked the references to Japanese Liquor.
  23. But that aside, the challenge is that those who can't see the obvious may choose not to expose.
