  1. It is a pity that there are no more details. We could all have learned something from this incident.
  2. "a picture tells a thousand words" . Maybe you could upload some photos?
  3. Are you still waiting for your Valor/A22/Foxbat, A P N A T A?
  4. I was just wondering, Ian, under your avatar it says CH-601 but you wrote that you have a CH-650. Have you upgraded your aircraft?
  5. I ended up getting my Cortec VCI-373 shipped from the USA because I was informed there was no dealer Downunder anywhere!
  6. Well done Rick. I hope you will have many hours of enjoyable construction time .
  7. Welcome. We look forward to hearing some more from you.
  8. Very fancy Yiannis. I hope it works well. Perhaps you could give us an update when this has been flight tested?
  9. It has been three years since I wrote the above, but there still seems to be no word that this plane is getting off the ground (pun intended). The company appears to have succumbed financially during the global financial crisis back in 2008. But, what has happened to all the design work that was done? Have the Sky Maxx plans and intellectual property rights been sold? Has the Sky Maxx pop up somewhere else?
  10. Hi Mark, I thought I would ask Karl. It's been about four months since Karl has posted and it is summer where Karl is in Ohio ...with long days... and perhaps the Savannah gets lots of attention? If I can be assured that the weight and balance works out, I am still interested in fitting a Viking 130. When you read this, Karl, I would love to hear: 1. How the weight and balance worked out. 2. The overall weight of the Savannah. 3. How well the Viking return fuel sytem works. 4. How you went with the cowl: was there a lot of adaption needed? 5. How the Savannah/Viking flies (assuming you are at this stage). We look forward to hearing from you!
  11. Hi Karl, How is the Savannah + Viking project progressing since you last posted?
  12. Hi Fil65, I am so happy that you are making a recovery after your operation. Thanks for the pictures: you're making good progress!
  13. Hi Ian, I am glad that you gave this a stay of execution. This gave me an opportunity to go through my old PMs and glean any good information. Keep up the good work!! Kind regards, Hank Optland
  14. I have a lot of messages to go through so hopefully you'll give me a few more days to do this before they disappear forever.
  15. It may not be an "agricultural plane" per se but it has been built strongly along "agricultural" KISS design principles. How many other RA Aus planes could crash into a tree like this and have the pilot survive? Credit goes to co-designers, Max Tedesco and Chris Heintz in coming up with both a light and strong aircraft. Zenith CH701 owners (and owners of an ICP Savannah which is derived from Max's and Chris' underlying design work) can take a measure of comfort from this. I hope the pilot makes a quick and full recovery!
  16. After many costruction hours, I hope you'll get 1,600 hours of flying pleasure from your brand new aeroplane!
  17. This is a very nice looking Savannah, Perry! Congratulations on achieving this milestone: a fully completed Savannah S. Well done!! Now there is another one on the NZ aircraft register :cheezy grin:making it five Ss, for a total of 14 Savannahs.
  18. Hi Ian, I hope that Caitlin's recovery is still progressing well. Thinking of you and the family.
