Student Pilot
Looks fantastic, I can see why they get lots of people to watch a spectacle like that. A poem from somewhere: Humble starling gracefully goes, waves of millions elegantly flow, nimble and dexterous , entrancingly sparkling, avian underrated our common day starling. 1

Marty_d
How do they do it??? http://www.youtube.com/embed/88UVJpQGi88Frank. I don't know, but I bet there's an extremely stressed starling air traffic controller perched in front of his monitor.
MarcK
I drove through a massive flock of budgies once in western QLD and trust me they are good but the amount of little coloured feather balls I had to remove from different parts of that hilux we can assume that Their decision making skills are lacking if they had not of taken off from the side of the road and decided to go across my path the death toll would have been 0 not somewhere around 1000000 like it was that day. And again they didn't seem to be able to navigate around my vehicle. M
