With you there Skippy I also do the big numbering thing. and am of the opinion that anyone who turns up to a polling booth needing a "how to vote card" should be disenfranchised on the spot and sent home. Our shining political example, Cory, is only in the senate because thousands of people were too lazy to do anything other than tick the box above the line. Now he has resigned from the party on whose behalf he was elected and can roll in the trough of senatorial benefits for the next 6? years. Convince me the system is not broken or at least seriously bent.

Google "mutt muffs" for hearing protection. I just put my dog on a very very short lead, unlikely to give her much protection in a crash but will prevent her turning into an unrestrained flying object or from scrambling onto my lap should we encounter serious turbulence. I understand that the regulations state they must be in a cage. On long flights I have put sponge ear buds in her ears after the first couple of times she accepts them with resignation

Arguing on the internet is like playing chess with a pigeon....even if you win the pigeon will still crap all over the board and strut around like they won. -
My GME EPIRB battery is well out of date, It has been suggested that since getting GME to install a new battery and service the unit costs $199 ie close to the cost of a new unit that buying a new one is the way to go. Any particular suggestions? the KTi unit seems like a good idea with a much longer battery life.
