  1. Yes, that's why Airservices require you to log in and of course to do this you have supplied your details with associated ARN.
  2. Welcome Is! I bought a prop off a guy near you. I believe there is a museum in that area also?
  3. Sweet Ross, the Jab engine is just pining for EFI. Heard good results from those that have already gone this way.
  4. Overlord? Who.... Zeus? If I may borrow from MAD either he's into Greek mythology or he smells like an exotic animals cage. (sorry, too late at night for me)
  5. Is that the same for everyone? A couple of us had an excess CO situation in the workshop one day due to lack of ventilation whilst using a big diesel burner and I can't say there was any headache, we both got extremely sleepy and groggy. We were even aware it could happen (planned to switch off the heater shortly) but it snuck up before we realised that was the scary part.
  6. Nah, apparently the co-pilot held his stick hard back the whole time, locked in stall.
  7. Don't text in the circuit.... (dnt txt n cc8) also facebook in circuit = faceplant.
  8. Nice photos / article here... Nev and some others here will likely fondly recall this.
  9. Early aviation - guiding aircraft across the USA.
  10. That's sad, whales are real tasty... maybe they will whale-farm. Love to be able to walk into Maccas and grab a McWhale.
  11. Somali pirates might try this, fortunately for everyone they are far too stupid.
  12. What no turn-back practise? From what I read it seems more about aeros than EMT? Fun though...
  13. SR-71 in-flight breakup by Bill Weaver. "we turned eastbound, accelerated to a Mach 3.2-cruise speed and climbed to 78,000 ft., our initial cruise-climb altitude..." Posted for general interest, also so those that enjoy psycho-analysing what the pilot did wrong.
  14. Mate thanks for posting about this incident, it does help us (the non-pompous types anyway) to be more aware of what can happen. Given what happened to the ABC heli and similar awful accidents having many k hours of experience isn't ever a guarantee of perfection. I was reminded of this just yesterday travelling behind a senior looking traffic cop who changed lanes without looking & very nearly shunted a car alongside him into oncoming traffic. Never too old or too wise to stuff up.
  15. Now don't act all surprised Zeus... Italian, it's how they do things!
  16. Yes these are seriously expensive even for big business, probably good for the super wealthy like dictators. But then would they buy a US made plane knowing it's probably crammed with NSA bugs and tracking devices?
  17. Welcome Keitek! Some nice machines there....
  18. If that info on the 737 is correct this comes across as a poor design.
  19. As most bees only live a few weeks to a few months they are fast learners? Amazing design there.
  20. Well he's probably buzzed off you implied he may be a scammer and posted his email address on a public forum. I would be too. Hope you find another buyer soon...
  21. Am I crazy to think that these things should be only a couple of hundred bucks or so? I mean they are headphones.... sticking with the Rec Flying ones for now.
