Have the 600kg upgrade kit on the way to be fitted, undercarriage first then do the wings upgrade. Also viewed Barry’s build that is a new 600kg variant.

Try cut out in cardboard as you need to get hand in and remove oil can cap with your fingers and thumb holding it. Any Sav or Skyfox aircraft locally will have a hatch. My old skyfox had the camloc with the ears on it so did not need a tool to unlock and lock. Cheers

An 0.3mm hole is also a gas jet size. When held between both thumbs and their next finger and hold up to the sun light you will see through it. I also have a few drill bits of that size for maintenance cleaning. The Oxy welding tip cleaner wire files are to big.

There are some tricky liquids out there. We’re doing work with a ship and engine room has about 7 meters of water in it and when divers have plugged the source they will commence pumping out and a team will be there to apply a liquid to preserve the engine and all electrics etc. They say you can run an angle grinder and place into the liquid and it will remain running. Will be expensive stuff. Not applicable to this recovery as already out of water.

Need GPS, I link my mini Ipad to phone wifi to get traffic, rain etc. Just to save extra data charge (save 150 to 180 per year, better in my pocket) Works good. I did have a $150 data sim first up but did not last 12 months; about 8 months.

Maybe carry some aviation snips (great for cutting lexan) or a saw blade and handle and start cutting from air vent or a cracked section. Would be the quickest way to make a hole shape that you want.

Agree portable is handy. Made mine a few years back when the pressure one I made wasn't up to scratch. Still need to make a vertical holder for the switch and suits the 20 litre plastic 'Jerry' type containers as the pickup is vertical and straight. Also runs off the aircraft battery but use the wheeled battery as it's a spare emergency start battery if me or someone needs a jump start.

Agree, I find the rudder certering needs only about 3mm adjustment to get right once in the target area. 10mm out or more and need heavy rudder foot pressure. Been thinking of a mini screw jack type adjuster for attaching the front bungee connection so I can do fine adjustments. With recent delivery flight of a Nynja need slight left foot pressure and aileron trim was not good enough to sort it to a happy place.
