  1. I went Saturday - It was great to see a large number of RAA registered aircraft lined up. Would have loved to have met up with some owners but guess everyone was out watching the spectacular displays - can't blame them, some were spectacular! I think NATFLY will feel a bit more at home for me, so looking forward to that & hopefully meeting & chatting to a few people there (who's going this year?) Cheers H
  2. If you are planning on a 5 yr term you could probably but an el cheapo car & leave it at the airport of your choice, in your absence. Also gives you an around town transport when you are there. Cheers H
  3. So that's where you were when I went to the RAAS ten today... Cheers H
  4. If dates are when I'm about I could pick you up from either Coldstream or Lilydale Cheers H

A policeman in the UK spots a huge black guy dancing on the roof of a Ford car. He radios for backup. "What's the situation?" "A big fat black bloke is dancing on a car roof." "You can't say that over the radio" replies the operator, "You have to use the politically correct terminology" "OK" he says. "Zulu...Tango....Sierra."

  22. Was a great day Had a terrific time at Dalby, :score 009:though the overnight camping was a tad cold!!! Was great to meet up with Tomo & Ballpoint. I agree the Cub is a shmick aircraft. Sadly I didn't catch up with Dunlopdangler who was obviously trying to work things around a very damp area & when I contacted him Friday I think they had a few weather concerns. Well done to all the organisers on handling the unexpected wet grounds, all was good though on the day. In fact the weather was spectacular today after the previous miserable wet day! Thanks Tomo for trying to fit me into a Drifter flight but my itchy home going feet took over after 8+ weeks away. Also a quick thankyou to Maj Millard who spent a day occupying me when I was coming through Townsville. I really enjoyed it. Cheers H
  23. Given all the endless hours & work the organisers have put in, lets hope that the fine forcast for tomorrow comes through. The Rouletss arrived this arvo in style, all refuelled & ready to perform for us tomorrow Cheers H
