On the ground they all talk with nostalgia of round engines, oil leaks, tail draggers and prop swinging. Especially when they think that middle sized Pete may have the ear of Admin.

In truth I think they're rather more interested in a different kind of dragging the tail, D cupsid swinging and empennage flutter.

Did you you read what middle sized Pete had to say about them and their challenges with flow? I could never make up me mind if he thought their greatest need was for an an editor or an yuriologist.

New Characters

"So" said El Ratto "We have new characters that have been created by the comeback (not that there is anything wrong with that) of Planey, HidyHody and TomTom, and as far as I can see we will have new contributions, some time, from:

Count (at least I THINK that is how he spells it) Yuri Proboskov - that well known Russian Recreator.

Mr Oil Leaks - A Lycoming owner.

MiddleSizedPete - Who is a bit smaller than BigPete, but who Nanna describes as being "more than adequate".

Yuri Ologistov - A mate of the other Yuri.

Rowena Tax - I nice little piece, but not quite as good as Jaba the Roo.

Tail Dragger - the dog.

Bi Cuspid & In Sizer - the well known couple who like AC/DC (the stuff, not the band).

Surly Bonds - The guy who is constantly at 14 ft/sec/sec until he catches up with his other special friend, Terminal Velocity.

Wicked Glint - A good time girl/boy (cross out that which does not apply).

Down Wind - The old timer RPT jockey. ("But they never get to be "old-timers" because they always bugger off to the main carriers as soon as they can" said a keen observer).

Straight Tin - who claims to be an aluminium airplane (but which by my observation, just doesn't exist). Is aluminiminium perhaps merely the "fabric" of the 21st century, where the only dope is the bloke that flies it?

Straight In - A ......................

......course less deviated than that of the left diverging bundy birds, and of that favored by the loverly Nana.

She it is who prefers a slowly round and round and steadily ever lower approach that culminates in a wild swinging of the CDI of the lads of the riverland.

The Lass on the other hand has been known to favour a mid cross wind joining technique because it ..............

"Hang on a minute!?" queried McLoch Incredulously :ah_oh:."Is Tom Tom old enough to be reading this? :raise_eyebrow: I mean seriously, all this talk about dope and bundy could lead a young lad to become a deviated! (aviation term)"

Ah thought TomTom... finally some one has become a little mature in there way of thinking and is attempting to change the way people talk/think?011_clap.gif.8adfe837b4189ee6622bf4917d6a88c0.gif (or are you?;))

Ok, so let me tell you a little story... "Young TomTom went away to TAFE when he was 16, and was hit by the conversations that went around there, 'you know the one's, talking about going and getting drunk, and talking sex, and thinking it's funny... to be drunk and going down the main road in a shopping trolley... (mind you it probably was!). So I got so sick and tired of this jolly talk I tried to change the subject and talk mechanical stuff, or stuff that actually has potential! (mind you, that's what all the other's were supposed to be there for:confused:) but got laughed at and made fun of all the time...(which doesn't worry me at all, I should add)

And because I wanted to learn stuff and was genuinely interested,(well ain't that what you going there for?) Some of the guys are there for just a social gathering I'm sure..!

The teacher told my Dad latter on at some event that my Brother (he went before me, 'cause he's older) and I are his best students:thumb_up:... How's that for encouragement Hey:thumb_up: And really that's just from appreciating other people's stuff, and treating it with care...

So I have absolutely no idea why I've told you all this....... and it doesn't fit in really at all...i_dunno:blush:

Oh yes that's what it was, talking Dope (ain't that the stuff you put on model aircraft?006_laugh.gif.d4257c62d3c07cda468378b239946970.gif)(aircraft term!) And Bundy (That's where Dad grew up:big_grin:) in and around young people's hearing... now that's actually called respect Mussed................

"What's this??" quizzed Nanna :heart:, her interest in Qld suddenly being aroused, "Someone who likes doing things maturely"...

Who? me?, worry about such things.....exclamation.gif.15cca54a67cbd47ca3b5897bbc7b8e75.gif not exactly your highness! (bit of an aviation termi_dunno) I'm just continually amazed at the strange ways that some young men behave when in a group together..!

What's it called? .... pear...no...peer.............

I should add too, that I'm not one for having fun!! 'cause that's what some tend to think if you don't do what's been outlined above...

Peer pressure?

pier pressure?

best pressure is beer pressure

comes in 9kg CO2 bottles and will power a home built (aviation term ) kit (more aviation term) beer for yonks ( not aviation term but well known pilot term).

when the aviation kit is stalled and the TAF multi lined and sprinkled with terms like pellets and CB then the beer kit is the way to go and avoids the serious potential problems that result from bundy deviations such as..........

Pier Pressure.(nautical term) - The force exerted by a boat against it's moorings prior to its engine 'lunching itself' (TM- elRatto).

Wet Dreams (Fly-in term) - What happens every time poorPete 049_sad.gif.cfa4f274d7bd070bd6a24b809e8799ba.gif tries to have an aviational gathering at 'chewka.

Bundy deviations (NES term) - a form of vertigo induced by rapid turns to the left

pretty sharp with that left jab is our Ratty,

and that's after his famous Anzac Day tripple bunger.

I'd hate to think how he'd be if the bikes were rained out and the interest was not interested.
