..... the JO Shortwing became a favourite amongst the Wish-Upon-a-Star croud.

They were also a favourite for those that did not have a straight runway and had to build a strip around the side of a hill on the farm (I seem to recall a detailed technical treatise on the issues involved when this was discussed previously in the NES), where the JO shortwing would land itself on curved runways (but the curve has to be in the right direction ..... and that made runway operations a bit of a bugger when the wind changes to the opposite direction), until one of the WUaSc tried to put one down on .....

......Mount Desperation downwind, wrong way round and uphill over the moguls.  This was discussed at length on the WF forum with over half the posters claiming the crash was caused by a weak nosewheel strut because everyone knows they are a probem. ....his argument was ignored as "weak nosewheel" was a far more comprehensive discussion-builder than "one long wing". In the meantime, a cunning Chinese aircraft designer, Wun Hung Lo, intent on industrial espionage, joined the WF forum, and tried to glean important design information from the discussions.

He took careful note with regard to ensuring maximum nosewheel strength, and promised himself to look up that strange word "shimmy" in the Chinese-Oz-ta-lian dictionary - but the words that really attracted his attention was "one long wing"!

This was great news! An aircraft named "One Long Wing", would sell like crazy in China! - thanks to that fabulous-sounding Chinese name! All he would need to do is start up an aircraft manufacturing operation, name it "Golden Treasure of the Red East Aircraft Company", and start selling the "One Long Wing" model, and he would have it made! He'd become another Jack Ma, just on ultralight sales alone!

But - he was yet to find out where this mysterious figure "bull" lived, and how to steal his "one long wing" plans. He thought about actually travelling to Tasmania - but when he did his research, he thought better of that plan, as it appeared Tasmania was full of Tigers and Devils, and there were also.....

Turbo used his "FingerPrinter" app which whirred away for 6 days and the reported:

CLASSIFIED: CC LANG

UNSUB: WANK

LOCATION: XIAN, CHINA

COMPANY: INLAND HAPPY SPY CO

PRODUCTS: MIG FLIGHTER AIRCLAFTS

So he or she was employed by an aircraft builder, and it was likely the plans for the Electric Drifter could be copied, so it's important that readers of the NES do not talking to people about the ED, because before long there will be cheap clones will start 3 times then refuse to even look like starting, or the prop hub will fall off and the shaft will be an odd size which no available hubs match, or .........................

Comment from Cappy - Isn't it amazing what 3D printing can do these days. Who would have thought that new fingers could be printed that way, even if it does take 6 days to make one, many finger amputees will be very thankful. But how do they attach it so that blood circulation can continue? Ohhhh ........ sorry ......., I just found the website of Turbine Prosthetics and Miscellaneous Other Bits Corp, so please ignore my initial question.

Further comment re the final lines in Turbs' above post - Turdboy has obviously had an unfortunate experience with Chinese supplied parts. Just say'n.

.......the assembly instructions were provided by the East Is Red Turbine Translation Inc Company, and parts will no longer be available, as Hong Shen Lian Wen Company was now building the aircraft to a new and improved design, instead of the old construction ideas promoted by the Golden Treasure of the Red East Aircraft Company.

Unfortunately for Turbo, he hadn't realised at this stage that his app had been produced by the Golden Treasure of the Red East Aircraft Company, and it contained tracking code (just like the Anom app), so the Chinese could follow Turbos discussions and planning, and even redirect his emails.

So one morning, Turbo was very surprised to turn on his Apple Mac and receive a strange message that read, "Prease to advlise that new version of Erectic Dlifter now avairable! Prease crick on link below to find out more inflomation and to................

Note & Critical Health Warning - Did OT perhaps mean to type "inflammation" here? As if so, that could be bad news for the Turbine 3D finger printing business if Turbo has used substandard or 2nd hand material in his printer ..... which his track record would sometimes indicate he is prone to do (in the past he has sourced stuff cheap from Wuhan ........ court action pending).

Turbo realised this may be a solutionfor what happened to him, so he sent an order in to  see what he would get. Turbo was shocked (but then he was also impressed with the size of what was printed) and when he discussed this with his closest friend, Cappy replied "Well you would, wouldn't you?" and then Crappy added "..............

Well now ....... that has certainly put a dampener on the NES, plus has removed one character (albeit very temporarily we are sure) that we can't put XXXX on anymore, let alone continue to call his pride & joy a Jackoff.

So what next?

...."The Peachcoloured Pimpernel"/

Turbo had found out about the history of the GT500 when he recovered an urgent flash signal from Langley where the above photo had been picked up shortly after it had been posted.

bull was wanted by the FBI and CIA for for smuggling  illegal tennis players into Mexico, and when it was discovered some of them smoked, and had been associated with CT, the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms honcos had joined the chase.

Don't tell anyone this, NES readers, because we don't want to get bull into any more strife like having his fingernails pulled out, but it's obvious from the above photo that a tennis player or two are already in the back of that GT, because as much as the bulky, muscular figure of bull is seen trying to hold the front end down, the nosewheel is high in the air, and .......................
