The pilot experienced difficulties while flying over Woongoolba, before crashing in a field off Finglas Rd on Friday morning.

A couple of questions:

 

Why were emergency crews 'stunned'? Was a lizard person flying it?

 

Why are casa investigating?

Because you can't have a plane crash report in the media without inserting the following terms or headlines .....

 

"Horror"

"Stunned"

"Shock"

"Screaming in fear"

"Pilot wrestling with the controls"

"Cessna"

"CASA are investigating". 😄

In all seriousness though, this is a good outcome. I flew out of Heck Field when test flying a demo plane. Cane fields all around. Pretty safe for emergencies, but obviously it's not going to be tidy.

You forgot plummeted.

This cessna is the only aircraft to have ever hit the ground tail first.
