It’s odd to see some cockpits set of for R/H seat Ops SP, I just don’t get that? some plane drivers really struggle to handle a plane in CMD from the L/H drivers seat, weird! -
Too many😉 Gotta keep the aviation industry going😉

30psi for most applications. I’ve tried 25 to 45 on all my machines, it’s a compromise but I operate off grass most of the time.

Ra-Aus MTOW 760kg. what aircraft would you favour?
Flightrite replied to danny_galaga's topic in Aircraft General Discussion
Every planes is a trade off. Mission is the first consideration then price. RA does offer options if you are solely driven by price. I’m not a fan of Jabs (dog ugly to me) but I do operate a few of their donks but my preference is metal anyday👍 Old school still does the job👍The higher weight which will ultimately go to 1500kg is a plus for many. -
Whilst spelling/grammar has always been overrated it’s something that employers look at closely, as well as the psycho crap! The best person for a job is no longer the one who will get the job, it’s the ‘right’ person! Now to go see what this survey is all about.

Looks like the wife knows her place there😉😉

The best legacy the old bastard did was give the enemy a very hard time👍 Glen Buckley replaces Ben to keep giving the enemy a very hard time, both hero’s in my mind!👍 -
What to wear in the cockpit?
Flightrite replied to Old Koreelah's topic in Aircraft Incidents and Accidents
I love the fear created with Mob Ph’s and refuelling, I’d like a dollar fir everytime Ive used a Mob Ph next to tanks being fuelled👍Also not to be used in flight, that cracks me up!😂 -

Fire after a crash is too common sadly! I lost a good mate many years ago in a croppy accident, he survived the impact but was trapped and burned alive, haunted me for years!🙁Imagine the pilots of WW1, fire in flight was common and no chute!🙁 -

One of my flying machines is in MPH, no big deal, a pilot is meant to be able to adapt. I wouldn’t waste yr money and swap it out! ATC might say maintain 90 KTS but they are clueless as to what you are actually indicating! -

Unbelievably there are pilots out there who support CASA!! Believe they are doing a good job!!! I was fortunate that me 3 offspring (ones I know of😂) were never interested in aviation as a career, I was spared as they were! -

Ya gotta remember it’s Australia, a nation known for corruption at ALL levels! CASA has always been a ‘jobs for the boys club’, a culture hiding behind the protection of multiple layers of bureaucracy and impenetrable as we have seen over many enquires! This is just another smoke screen! -
Arriving safe is the most satisfying part, the rest you can talk about at the bar😉 Over 200 kts today @ 9.5K ISA+17c, living’ ‘da dream👍
