This is interesting, it might explain why the pilot who went down in banks strait is up on so many charges when in fact I can't pick what he did wrong other than alchol less that eight hour rule. Maybe I just answered my own question.

Pilot dies in light aircraft crash south of Townsville

I didn't know Ross personally only on this forum. I'm saddened by his death and offer my Condolences to family and friends. I too am wondering how someone with such experience could make such an error of judgement, maybe there might be some information uncovered in the investigations that we are presently unaware of. -
That's what I thought.

''Endorsements don't cost anything'' If this is the thinking across the raa board that would explain some of their decision making lately.

I must say I like the varied topics discussed on this site. We shouldn't be afraid to talk about what's on our mind, remember we are all mates here and that's what makes this site special. Now back to aviation.

you need to do some more reading, then take a minute and then try to comprehend what it is you just read. You jump to conclusions to quickly.

I think it's great that people with early dementia can fly, Do you want demented pilots in CTA with your loved ones on a commercial flight? Well I've heard everything now, you must be running out of things to talk about. Buy a game of scrabble and find a friend.

We Did vote them in but that didn't give them un challenged power. Our job is to keep them on the straight and narrow and if we fail throw them out quickly to save our country. The idea of a mandate is crap

I love it.

RAAus membership is in my belief is under priced when one considers the benefits - our insurance and importantly the platform to pursue economical flying.. Are you kidding. You blokes amaze me with such statements without looking seriously at value for money.

Tony was a promoter of wheelers during training but he certainly would expect you to be able to three pointer a thruster and once mastered they are easy.

:roflmao:I wish as a recreational pilot I could fly 20 to 50 hrs a week.

I've been wondering about that for sometime. What do you think of it now that it's fitted and what about ease of a retro fit -
