I,m Old & self taught for driving. Lower 10% of IQ. I think I couldn,t get that high, in that ' university derived test ' that caters for " interlectuals . POOR education should Not be allowed to run ' everything '. Over sixty years without causing a crash ! . BUT That last crash I was in , as ' rear seat ' passenger. Knocked me for six. My number teo daughter complained about my driving . So I told her to go with her older sister , who I consider a HOON, Alway racing up to the lights . Tailgates all the time ! , ( snapped her arcilles tendon ) . Driving too fast too close . And scares the poo out of me . BUT has a very high IQ and education , passes most tests with ease . Her son drives around " Eastern Creek Sports " complex most weekends . In his home built race car , But me , lower education, means no RAA maintainance perks for my home built HummelBird. spacesailor

ONE four jet jumbo , uses more fuel. Getting to cruise altitude , Than All the ' small capacity ' piston engined planes in Austraila , use in one whole day !. spacesailor

My Dozens of ' A ,G,M ' batteries All failed to charge ! , After a very hot day in my garage. ( more than one day ) Even an unused brand new one died. ( a spare ). I started to ' paint ' the roof of the garage to try & get the interior temperature down . But ran out of " get-up-and-go " , plust adding ' microspheres ' made ' low pressure ' spraying harder. Also to to spray from INSIDE , to keep the heat out. spacesailor

That ' electric mobility scooter ' Is Not allowed to tow a trailered generaor. By ' Bureaucratic Law ' . Now That shows , the " STUPIDITY OF THE LAW " . WE can rideon the ' foot path ' But those power poles stop even ' push chairs / Invalides ' wheelchairs .cannot get past those poles ,& have to risk ' life ' going onto the road . ( the risk of tipping over when getting down the kerb ).. Our local ' rail bridge ' has a pole centrally placed in the one & only walkway. SO The motorist are plesently irate whenever a " silly old bugger " needs to get to the other side. Spacesailor

Perhaps you should have used ' Their ' wheelchair. I had my Last air trip , befor a hip replacement. We had the wheelchair ordered & it was on time every time. My own wheelie stayed home. Not touched since that NEW hip . It must be a mess by now . LoL spacesailor

Whatever the price of ' mogas ' the ' avgas ' will always be higher . Filtration is going to put the $ up every time . Then in 2035 ' mogas ' will be sold only to " enthusiasts " with a combustion engine licence. I,ll just have to see if my " mobility scooter " will last that long . Spacesailor

Metal props ?. WW2 scrap metal, We had lots of ' Duralumin ' alloy props go through the smelter . Very strong & flexible, suprisingly so . spacesailor

Tree,s do !. BUT Who planted that tree ?, could councils be held for ' inappropriate tree site,ing '( spelling) causing death. They Do put them, in the Most dangerous & stupid places. My suburbs nature strip has been ' greened ', & said tree,s stop us exiting our cars when parked kerbside. Lots missing already , IF A little thought had been used a lot of wastage could have been avoided. spacesailor

Jacks Fail , when the wheel is too low to use ' jack ' . 4X4 driving I carry an " exhaust jack " , Just push it under the car away from heat , & the engine lifts the car high enough to get that jack or anything available to make vehicle' safe ' to work on . Also I saw a " half wheel " jack , were you put said H W Jack under axle move forward & wheel it up high . Been there done that . LoL spacesailor

HMMM As I have a Few years of ' chopping Alluminium ' under my belt . IT is far different to chopping wood !. That long handle will save your back , & the ight head will save your shins , feet & legs. Much depends on ' Control ' of that cutting blade , I did not chop to release trapped people But to disassemble the whole aircraft . spacesailor

My garage can get up to 50 ○c in those hot summers, The following day the ' AGM ' batteries just stop charging! . Those Old lead acid batteries just go on & on . Ihave three Old 6 volt batteries from 1950 ish , dry charged , waiting for a use . One Day LoL. spacesailor

Ssshhhiiittt I was quick on to this, & now a little disappointed. I need a GOOD battery , that will last a longer time than what I use now. Not just capacity but longevity. The Old lead acid batteries lasted years , new A G M , lucky to last one year. spacesailor
