    IF ! YOU chop your own props ! . You can customise them , to whatever suits your airframe , take-off, climb , cruise and economy. It appears a lot of smaller engines ' like ' a wooden propeller . Also your wallet really likes them as too . spacesailor

    The only difference, that make a tail wheel twitchy. Is the distance between those wheels. If you come All the way down to 3 Mars between the wheels , It Is Twitchy. spacesailor

    Move the ' horizontal stabiliser ' to give a better result , on the ' elevator ' incidence. IF your design allows such adjustments. spacesailor

    Shouldn't the ' fuel burn ' be more important than just " piston " engine ! . I mean , a Cessna six cylinder has better fuel economy than that same ' airframe ' running a " turboprop " engine . ( Ltrs er hour. ) . spacesailor

    I went to a ' heart specialist ' . When I asked ' if ' there was something wrong . They answered. It's all in the cloud. So I cancelled my next appointment, & I feel much better for it.( never had a heart test since). spacesailor

    Why do most pitot's have the bent piping , If you use a straight pitot with a bent plastic elbow , shouldn't it work the same ? . Pipe- elbow , tubing , Instrument . I just thought about Mr King's H bird modification. Straight piece of alloy, That screwed into receptacle. spacesailor

    I bought a ' simple ' static , from A S ,and like you say $ 16 for very light ' bent alloy tube ' , with $ 32 for postage . The post-packet weighed more than the ally tube . Yes , I tried unsuccessfully a lot of times to make that tube bend to it's 90 deg shape . I have seen a modified ' pito tube ' on 19- 1944 Hummel Bird . spacesailor

    I have a ' phone-camera ' , but when photographing wild-life, they're gone before the pics in the bag , ( bag for removing old-style film ). So not as good as a " box brownie " . No set up and no focusing. spacesailor

    Talking of fore & after c g ! . A trijet lost elevator control , ( worn worm screw ) & only just made a landing. Could using ' pax ' to move C of G to enhance Flyability. It seems a little far-fetched that All those ' searbelted people ' would not help ' themselves ' to keep ' Their ' aircraft in a stable' flight configuration . spacesailor
