I recognise that windsock.... why is it never that well behaved when I want to fly..?! Nice hangar...

Well done, the pull to the left also caught me out on first solo, before i knew it i was heading 45 deg bound for the sticks, but i bugged out, turned around and tried again, (I think I must've buried the throttle too quickly being a bit nervous the first time and the torque caught me out)

I've always loved Jeep, had mine (2005 KJ) for 5 years now and never had any issues, respectable 4wd capability as well. I just feel they've lost their soul a bit with their latest offering of 2wd (wtf?) models compass, patriot etc. I guess they are after that market of metro yuppies and soccer moms to keep the company profitable. We also have a Willys Jeep CJ2a 1942 i think ( now that's a real jeep ;) in the family, just need the time and $$ to give it some love.

It doesn't take long and it was predictable........

Usually given to the newest/youngest team member, or if the captain doesn't like you.. -
Welcome, enjoy your training at BAC, their tecnam eaglet is a great little aircraft.
-
I think I saw it on itunes if you have an ipad or similar. I'm not sure about hard copies.

No offense taken there Nev I guess one gets to know the regular members "mannerisms" on this forum. I get where you're coming from. Perhaps lil' chickenhawk forgot to check the ski's were fitted on the preflight? rookies... -
My missus keeps telling me I act like a 5 year old, does that count ?
-
Welcome, picturesque part of the world down that way.
-
I'd rather see the extra weight being used in strengthening the aircraft so there is less chance of the wings ripping off if you inadvertently get into a situation where this could happen., but that's a whole other can of worms.

Great behind the scenes look at Air Tahiti Nui, I was especially blown away by the closing scene....
-
Nice, one to remember for you I'm sure.

If you've got 45 min to kill hook this up to some decent speakers and give your ears a treat ;) Loved the in cockpit audio on the Lancaster.

Here's one with a windsock (dead) Still pretty impressive.

And the fun police will be there if you dare land on a beach or somewhere that they can't charge you money... I still want one..

I want one...

thanks for posting, definitely pucker factor when they descended into the cloud with the mountain ahead.

I've just bought Fate is the Hunter as some have suggested, so far I'm hooked, great read. I haven't read a book for pleasure in a long time.....
-
Welcome :) Where are you flying from?
-
So it's just a delay, no changes? Like perhaps the pointless medical system which may as well be a class 2?
-
yes all patiently waiting for updates - *drumroll*

I reckon that would be a very nice plane, chuck a Rotax 912 80 hp in there (more cost but peace of mind) I also like that the fuel is in the wings and not over your legs. Nose-wheel looks like it could use some beefing up... or moved down the back ;)

:score 010:Well done. You must be stoked! If I said i wasn't jealous i'd be lying...
