Thanks for that. We followed the instructions but seems it did not take. Further reading says it can take a few goes. SO back to the airfield for another go. Also out of interest, did you purchase an updated POI database? or do you use the HSI?

Well I went to calibrate the compass, it said it passed but it seems not as it is still saying COG. Did you have to do it a few times and any advice? Figured already it is a 2 person job.

Installed, and tested on the ground. Tomorrow is the compass calibration and test flight.

Yes AvGas at Gawler, just arrange it with the Adelaide Soaring Club, will not be a problem (I am part of the club) as long as someone is there, ie during normal business hours, not far into town too or there is a bunk house at the club.

It is a zodiac CH601 HDS, it was built in the US and imported to Australia some years ago. Believe I am the 3rd owner in Aust. Has a rotax 912 UL, cruises around 100 to 110 knots. Colour, well not my first choice but it stands out!!!

Hi All, I have just purchased a Zodiac CH 601 HDS. Now while it is hangared at the home base, I am planning on doing trips away and I would like to have a cover over the canopy. Can anyone recommend a place to go to for this without breaking the bank? Thanks all.
