This accident emphasises the value of keeping a good look out at all times. -
Must have cost a fortune to do the repair. It may be that they would have had to remove the wreck anyway, if it was a write off.

Well done, old boy!

Oh no, the fearsome dog spider! Funniest video I've seen in a while.

You may need a gasohol type fuel tester. Add water to the prescribed level, then add fuel to prescribed level. Shake, and let contents settle. If "water" level has increased, then you know there is alcohol in the fuel as it has now mixed with the water. Hope this helps.

I practised on the simulator and then bought a Parkzone Trojan and flew it at the local park. There were a few other flyers as well until the council inspectors threatened us with big fines if they caught us there again. They got our names and car rego and took photos of us and our models. It was a bit depressing to have the council come down on us like that. Anyhow we approached our local councillor and to our amazement, he was very supportive of us. We had to form a club and get insurance, but it has been worth the effort. The club has been going for about 12 months now and we have around 100 members including a few very keen juniors.

I have the older version, Real Flight G3, and it's very good, so I imagine the latest version would be better still. It is worth the dollars especially if you want to fly choppers!

Welcome Steve. Just a suggestion, but you may do better to save your pennies and look at doing one lesson per week. At the rate of one per month, you may need a bit of revision with each lesson. Regard, Bob

Dave, you can run but you can't hide!

Well if he is on your ignore list, I'd assume you were missing a bit!

I now have the article from the courier. Quote "Recreational aviation Australia chief Michael linke said his organisation which will lead the investigation into the latest crash, had safety concerns about jabirus before yesterday's incident. ' we've written to Casa about this particular type of aircraft, so we've advised them that crashes have happened once too often' he said. Thanks to Michael at our local coffee shop who helped me crawl through a dumpster to retrieve the courier mail. Regards, Bob

Turbo, it may not be in the online version but it was certainly in the printed version!
