  5. Sorry. I was posting photos on AusFly all weekend. Tried to get Stuart's photos up yesterday. Was doing it at the Dinner on a mobile phone, as otherwise it would ha e had to wait till I got home this afternoon. And it would have taken hours to caption them all. Started putting them up 1 at a time then put them in in groups.
  6. Well over 200 planes flew in. Fantastic weekend. Presentations were well attended. And loads of photos at https://www.facebook.com/2019ausfly/ Sorry they aren't captioned. And don't think there are any/many duplicates. I put them up whilst at the Dinner last night and it would have taken hours to caption them all.
  7. Was the question specific to carby icing? If noy then I don't think the carbie venturi pressure is the first cause of icing that comes to mind.
  8. Thanks. I don't look after the website but will let them know. Enjoy the birthday party.
  9. There's usually some at the pub in Narromine. And think AOPA will be running a shuttle from Dubbo - might be worth giving them a call.
  10. Hopefully see/meet some of you there. The sponsors and exhibitors coming look great. Display pilots also. http://www.ausfly.com.au
  11. These guys https://www.pilotpracticeexams.com/ and their associated Facebook site are good. Lots of practise questions and heaps of discussion on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/ppexams/
  12. Registration is well and truly open! Last year the Dinner sold out. It was an awesome night with Matt Hall as speaker. Don't leave it too late to book for this year.
  13. Listening to the audio between the aircraft and the tower he clearly states its his first lesson.
  14. Umm so seriously. There is a landing fee, a taxi fee and a parking fee?? What value is the landing fee if it doesn't include access to the taxiway?
  15. Silly me. I thought flying was magic!
  16. Sorry. Chapter 21 of the SAAA. We meet at Moorabbin Airport.
  17. Chapter 21 has a book of MR's. $2.50 each plus postage if you would like one/some.
  18. Sharing this information following Hunter Recreational Flying Club - Cessnock's general meeting today where revelations of a brazen theft of a propeller from a hangared Jabiru were discussed. The thief knew how to access the locked hangar. Details of the propeller are as follows: Propeller Serial #171 Blades are #638 & 640 Hubs are #460 front and rear Spinner Assy #265 The more we can spread this information the better the likelihood of an apprehension. Contact Cessnock police if you do have any information.
  19. The discussion on the wrinkled prune has a post by a lady on the ground at Leigh Creek who says that the PAL was activated by the plane that landed .. but that was after the Brumby had been unsuccessfully trying to activate them.
  20. If you google the identifier ie. YMEK aviation usually they come up ..
  21. Just curious why this thread is in this Forum. 'Trips, events, seats' doesn't seem the best place for this?
  22. not sure why you'd be hurrying to book? Gold coin donation at the gate. I'm assuming that like last year you will need to book for the welcome dinner, breakfast etc but too early to do this now.
  23. AusFly again promises to be a great! Hopefully meet some of you there.
  24. We;ll be at the SAAA display most of the show. Pop over and say Hi.
