Do you get feedback through your headsets from the skyecko? I'm getting a lovely ticking noise through mine. Does not seem to make a difference where I mount mine. I have tried two different Skyecko units and they both do it. (PA-28 140)

Please check that propeller rotation is the same as the Rotax 912 before you set the offset.

Updated this morning, went for a fly and all seems ok.

I've never had the problems you described so went onto Ozrunways and yes there seems to be a few problems since the last update, won't let me change altitudes or LSALT. Definitely has issues that weren't there last weekend.

Get some of the 6mm door molding trim about 75mm long and stick it in the thrust line at the trailing edge on the side you are pushing the rudder. If to much try a shorter piece, not enough make it longer.

For the one I posted.... At one metre it takes about 4 minutes for 20 litres, on the wing it takes just under 3 minutes. I should have mentioned that the spike is about 35mm wide and doesn't fit all drums. Fits my red "Scepter" drums not the black ones or my other red ones (SCA from Supercheap)

The original poster stated he has no problem getting the 10 litre drum up high enough, but getting the fuel in the tank is the problem. This is nothing like a siphon and would solve his problem.

Only used it for the Piper and car, if you can get it within a metre it would work fine.

Try one of these. Put drum on wing, turn on and pull nozzle trigger, runs on 2 "d" batteries and lasts for ages.

No, the aircraft doesn't have carb heat, or airbox.... Incorrect cable fitted from factory

I know of a Tecnam 2008 that if you pull the knob that is labelled Carb heat, your feet get hot.

Recently I asked the question about the door on the right side of the Pipers. On the Cub it needed to be on the right side so when you prop started it you could reach in to adjust the throttle. When the PA-28 was designed the door was put on the right side because they had always put the door on the right side of the aircraft.

Check that the vents from the carbs to airbox are connected and not leaking.
