    Buy a plug from an electrical shop , solder a length of reasonable thickness. ( so it doesn't get hot )wire , making sure the centre post is the same as your 12 v port . simples or if nonecompetent , have a L2 make one up for you . spacesailor

    But why keep the round shape ( that you started with ). Squashing it to an oval shape will lessen drag . Many years ago , I made my own ' roof racks ' from 2" stainless , that I picked up heap . They looked shit when finished, so I squashed that pipe to 1" by whatever it was . Then everyone wanted those great looking aerodynamic roof-racks . I put a 3/4" wood dowel in the stainless pipe &used a press to get it right . I have no idea what your curves would turn out after pressing it . spacesailor

    They ' possibly ' can be upgraded . But they want your money. They can & do sell refurbished items overseas . For the lower technology country's. Then those country's will be cut off & upgraded later. spacesailor

    It's the same as calling all the positions , then, on touch down , have another aircraft , do a ' straight in 'downwind , towards you, we ' the pilot & I .only just cleared the runway as he passed . spacesailor
