  1. Well that is truly a bugger Ian, as Mark said welcome to the Can Do (can't) state, expect of course vote themselves a 30% pay increase and then say that is was not us that gave us this wage rise, it was an independent body... yea sure we all believe that.. maybe the other half of your pay is going into Newmans pocket as part of his pay increase... God don't you love pollies>>>>>> :( Good luck in future Ian.. David

Hi Brendon, I have a client at Bribie Island wanting to build the same size shed and he is having the same battle as you but with the Moreton Bay Council, I don't think he is going to win his battle with them either sorry to say, another shed I missed out on..bugger.. David
  12. Maybe the new Bemuda triangle..so maybe they were all beamed aboard the mother ship...what a crazy situation..I feel for all the families.. David
  13. There is report that a Chinese satellite has picked up debris in the water that looks like it could be from an aircraft and it is near the course the aircraft was flying, and also a kiwi guy on an oil rig reported seeing a plane on fire at about the correct time and place... maybe they have found it.? David
  14. There have been reports of the flight flying at 500mt...there are some weird things going on with this aircraft... maybe there is some hope, they could be on some remote island.. David
  15. I like no's 9 & 10 the best.. thanks Phil.. David
  16. AJ should be the first go from Q if you ask me.. it has been downhill in Q from the first day he walked in the Q doors. I wonder if the government lets foreign ownership happen whether he would be still there? I think like our cricket team get an Aussie in their to pull it back into shape, surely we have a good Aussie manager floating around that can do the job, but more than just a good manager, he has to be willing to put Q first instead of worrying about his own back pocket.....get rid of this foreigner fast before it is really to late and we loose Q for good.... David
  17. Very nice video...thanks for putting it up.. David
  18. Thanks all for the comments, So apart from the weight and only one of everything, they are cheaper on the maintenance side and cheaper to buy initially, so I guess they would be a nice engine to have in a aircraft, I see the Foxcon's use them in their standard fitment of an engine., so they mustn't be to bad.. David
  19. Hi All, To someone that has no idea about the EA81 engine could I ask anyone that knows, I have been reading a little about them and I was thinking how reliable are these engines compared to say the Rotax engines, I see in photos that it only has one spark plug per cylinder, do they have a dry sump arrangement and or twin mags? So how I ask, how reliable are they really, would people here have one fitted to their aircraft if not why not? I will be interested to hear peoples opinion on it. David

Owen, A nice story, I know exactly what you are saying as I lost my Dad 45yrs ago but at times like Christmas and New Years I will always spare a thought of things that could have been if my Dad was still around. All I can say is enjoy the time you have as you never know how long you have.. Happy New Year all.. David
