  13. What a great weekend...this was my first Old Station flyin and the best event of this type that I have been too, the effort that all the volunteers and workers put in on the weekend and probably weeks before should heartily congratulated everything that I saw there was top notch from our dinner on Friday night to the speakers after, it was the first time I had heard Matt Hall speak and I actually got a chance to shake his hand and have a quick chat..what a legend and a true gentleman..the airshow on Saturday afternoon was top notch as well. I loved it all, I thank my mate Scott for letting me ride shotgun in the now sold Nynja well done on the sale Scott and to Paul you are getting a really nice aircraft..good luck with it. I met some of the folks that I have talked to here on Rec Flyer and to finally meet them in person was really nice, I hope it won't be to long before we can get a chance to chat again. The headwinds going up to Old Station from Caboolture and also coming home with pretty much the same winds again was a bit of a pain but all in all a wonderful weekend and I am looking forward to next year.... David

  19. Yes maybe I am a bit slowwwww Phil ... I am sure you understand that when conversing in a subject like this sometimes a things written are taken the wrong way...like I can't see you wink or smile when you say things..maybe we should all put a smiley at the end of a comment if it is intended to be a joke...especially with topic's like this one..ok all good... We coming to Swindon in July..maybe we can sit down and have a beer and have a chat face to face.. David
  20. There are no public toilets at YCAB but maybe one day they will have a new clubhouse with a toilet block included in the building...here's hoping...you can stop in a Macca's just down the road from the field. David
  21. Phil, Well I do think he inferred that they should not have Muslim pilots....All I am saying is, is that you better not fly on airlines...like... Singapore/Malaysian/Etihad/Emirates etc if you are worried about Muslim pilots...just fly QANTAS or maybe Germanwings if you would like good christian pilots..I don't believe whether they are married or Muslim or Buddhist is going to make one iota of difference if they have depression or a metal problem and they just want to kill themselves. All the airlines can do is screen their potential pilots better, more regular testing for personality problems but even that will probably not help if someone really wants to harm themselves... they have had years of hiding it from family and friends...I am not an expert and I really don't know how to safe guard the travelling public 100% from this sort of thing...sorry to say... David
  22. What's being a Muslim got to do with it??? the Germanwings co pilot wasn't a Muslim from what I have read...how can you say that, I don't think any of the aircraft incidents that have happened lately can be blamed on the pilot because he may have been a Muslim... David
  23. Scott I look forward to a nice video from the Go Pro. David
  24. Scott did you get any footage from your Go Pro that you can use? David
  25. Don't know about coming out Nev but I would certainly wouldn't want to sit on that on the long haul to London David
