Obviously not a Stol pigeon. I have never seen a bird perched at 90 degrees to a strong wind. Photo shopped?

If it was a budgie, it could have been nailed to its perch (just ask John Cleese)

Ailerons are a bit stiff, hows those tie straps? 111_oops.gif.41a64bb245dc25cbc7efb50b743e8a29.gif

If it happened to be photoed in OZ, can't you just see CASA crapping themselves in attempts to identify the pilot/cyclist?

Lots of external load photos on the net. Mainly on Otters, which have approved hard points.

That 'Otter' with the tinnie sure looks like a Beaver (Beavers have flat tails - Otter tails are rat-like, that's how you tell the difference). 003_cheezy_grin.gif.c5a94fc2937f61b556d8146a1bc97ef8.gif

Can I just ask, why the hell wouldn't you at least put the pointy bits of the tinny at the front??

Going backwards it'll be mainly a lot more drag...but going forwards, it's a sort of wing, who knows what sort of aerodynamic effect it might have...and maybe someone found that out the hard way???
