Section 92 of the Australian constitution makes the whole state boarder closed thing illegal. No if's or but's There is no higher law than the constitution if there is a conflict between laws the constitution trumps it. Declaring a state of emergency makes zero difference.
The name does not matter unless you work in a lab. Virtue signaling make someone look like a proper d%^$k.
BTW the flu and covid 19 look almost identical I am sure none of us here could tell the difference looking at a picture.
I preferr Kung flu. Why? Because we all have to do a bit of Kung flu fighting.
Like calling it the Spanish flue? Irony probably started in the USA but anyway.
China flu has nothing to do with race its a geographical location and it is where it started (wet markets). Virtual signaling your "moral" values is ridiculous. I preferr to use Kung Flu.
Just solder the new plugs onto the correct connectors

The impedance will be fine. You may have to tie the L and R headphone's together depending on how your radio is configured. Just don't get the mic and head phones round the wrong way because sticking the mic in your ear and taking into the earphones is very uncomfortable.
BRS's are expensive and have to be repacked another large expense. However if your wing's have fallen off you would be happy you spent the money. As long as you had not exceeded the vne for chute deployment which would happen very very quickly. There are plenty of cases where the chute simply rips off.
If you are flying European rubbish metal spin machines they might be a good idea you do however have to be high enough for them to work. If you are flying a Jabiru your touch down speed is going to be about the speed off a ballistic chute anyway, with an almost unspinable aircraft your not going to be in a stall spin situation. Properly designed LSA do not need BRS. The cheapest option is wear your own chute glider style and modify the doors to come off. Something would have to be really wrong for you to want to leave the protection of a Jabiru cockpit.
That's because they are easy and cheap to maintain or replace if you are a flying school and down time matters instead of an overhaul you simply drop a new engine in. You can have 3 Jabiru engines for the price of a rotax (which is not a rolls-royce engine).
Jabiru's are one of the safest planes on the planet (does that make it a rolls-royce?).
Good luck with your overpriced European junk the Bristell is showing the level they operate at :).
Real aero engines are air-cooled!
IFR after 1st January 2020 = ADSB,
Regardless of "key transmissions" they should have been seen that's the whole point of ADSB. Something went wrong big time maybe one ADSB was not working and they where not listening or transmitting on the correct frequency. Swiss cheese event????
This accident needs to be investigated and findings made public.
My last BFR was done in a SportStar VH registered. I fly an experimental which fly's nothing like a sportstar but the rule's say I have to do a BFR so I simply shop around for the cheapest aircraft. My aircraft does not have dual controls so I cannot do a BRF in my own aircraft. The whole RAA vs GA is all a bit odd but you only have to do 1 BFR at the highest level and that will cover your RAA.
Been playing with Avplan thanks to you guy's.
I like it a lot, their attitude on sharing traffic and displaying adsb traffic is a good reason to change when my subscription runs out on Ozrunways. Both apps are fantastic but if Ozrunways does not want to play the game (share traffic) then we the customers can punish them.
blancolirio's/Juan Browne break down.
Notice his first question what where they doing dropping in these conditions its institutional problem why where they even using tanker's in these conditions???
I can answer that. For the media so the government can pretend they where doing something useful.
I posted this weeks ago. The military is great for blowing stuff up and killing people anything else and you ask them to do is something that is not in their job description.
At Narromine last year (2019) during an Ozrunways masterclass, Ozrunways said they would not share data with Avplan because they where so much bigger (around 80% of the market). Avplan was keen to share but ozrunways rejected it. Very short sighted IMO.
I want the opposite and just upgraded VFR premium for the extra features. Oz runways is a fantastic piece of software.
The android version will be a steep learning curve if you have to learn the OS. If you have used it before you will be ok but I hate the feature loss. Stick with apple IMHO ipads are generally way better on the hardware side to.
I don't really use personal way point's but I have a been thru a few Ipad's (4). I do have to put my aircraft data back in each time i install ozrunways on a new ipad.
I just checked my 1 way point that I had put placed on a map a few Ipads ago and it does appear on the new one so that's an indication they do transfer.
Maybe some one else knows for sure.
2 separate sentences. In a situation where the fire is crowning the water evaporates before it reaches the fire. In mild conditions when you can get close with the ground vehicles the water hits hard enough to kill. So water bombing is useless when it matters and dangerous when it's not really needed.
Have you ever been on a fire ground?
Have you volunteered for anything?
Yes I have been involved with aerial ops.
The privately owned aircraft are payed standby rates so they do cost the tax payer whether they are used on not. When in use the 802's are costing $3000 an hour each tended thru a corrupt system that has no real competition for downward price pressure.
The drops are OK'd from the command center which can be many km's away from the drop zone and in most cases they cannot see where the drop is taking place. In a fire zone it is very chaotic with limited visibility the fact you think that the drop is safe because someone on the ground ok's them show's you know nothing about this subject.
Arial bombing is useless except when the conditions are mild and then they are not really required. Their extremely limited usefulness does not justify their extreme cost's the money would be way better spent else where.
