    Who will buy a discontinued engine . Leyland ,when Finnished were made to supply lots of spare- parts , Then an American bought all those engines & spares . ( used in speed-boat racing ) Nothing for the public to get. spacesailor

    I was told eons ago , That the thorns( in tyres ) can be sealed with the slime as it can hold that thorn in place. spacesailor

    I think I must hold the record , for ' club membership ' refusal. I tried to. Join the " St George & Sutherland" fishing club. The refusal was by one committee member . Who's brother , I purchased a boat from . so no fishing trips , with experienced fishing members . spacesailor

    I agree . if you have split rims . Terrible having a hole in the new tube , after ' pinching ' the tube with the tyre levers . LoL . been there done that . spacesailor

    I have carried one for years . off-roading , it was never used , as when the tyre was flat , it usually had a bigger hole than could be fixed without a ' patch ' inside the tyre Two punctures on the " silver city hwy " . I also carried a bigger none pressurised Plastic-bottle of " green slime " which has suddenly ( after many years ) split while sitting on a shelf . ( it's OK for ' bindii type leaks ) . spacesailor

    It took longer than I thought it should have, learning to " push " the rudder, instead of turning with a ' front-wheel ' steering " boxcar " . I see a " trike " has the " boxcar " steering . Followed by " weight-shift " steering when airborne. spacesailor

    It is , a nose wheel ( for training ) . And can be easily modified to a ' tailwheel ' at a time the owner is confident in their flying abilities. spacesailor

    I have always loved the practical art of flying . I'll never regret spending the money . In fact I'm thinking of another 'TIF ' flight . spacesailor

    Therewas before RAA . 16 builders here in Australia . One, that I know went to RAA regulation 95-19 . Two were sent to the tip . scrapped. Mine sits forlornly, in my garage . spacesailor

    I agree, I have only flown A22 foxbat . ( not counting trial flights ) But my problem was . They're all different to the Hummel bird I want too fly . Joy-stick between legs , & no flaps or toe-breaks . So will never learn to fly a Hummel bird . Untill I slide into that small cockpit and Do it myself . spacesailor

    I have his ( grangsons ) old ' OBD ' scanner, but it is in code's. You have to check online , for those code readouts . ( to know what they mean ). spacesailor

    My grandson, made his own instrument " flat panel " from a " Ipad " tablet . For use in his " drifting car " . This tablet I'm using has no input points to use it for anything other than a ' tablet ' . spacesailor

    With a big barn . It takes a much, Braver man than I , to test-fly an unproven/flown aircraft with my minimal hours , in a completely different aircraft . 30 hours in an " A22 foxbat " , with it's 6.3 mtrs length Short coupled " Hummel bird " , with 4.06 mtrs , length. and a very fast roll rate. spacesailor

    Fairey Rotodyne . There was no ' torque ' from those rotors . As an " autogyro " it was able to ' glide ' to a safer landing than most aircraft of that time .
