  1. Just look at the engine in this unique 3 wheeler car and suggest it's hp. Wonderful piece of work, up for sale if not already sold. Do you think it could be modified for aircraft use? http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/19766/lot/379/?page_anchor=MR1_page_lots%3D71%26MR1_results_per_page%3D5%26MR1_module_instance_reference%3D1
  2. What's the easiest to remember, 8ft X 4ft, or 2.4384meters X 1.2192meters. I seem to work with anything over an inch is imperial and anything less is millimeters. Comes from being a pom for half my life and an Aussie for the rest.

  5. Wish it worked like that for me. All I got was a bloody head-ache.
  6. Thought the upshot of the incident was a stain on her dress. Clinton was obviously a rotten shot.
  7. Currently, I'm not a paid up member but I want to thank you for being so vigilante.
  8. Debs, I believe you can get a hand operated mover. Hitch it up and turn a handle which is linked to the drive wheel via a chain. Shouldn't be too expensive.
  9. Hi Deb, I to, welcome you to our forum. As to your ground handling problem, have a look at caravan movers. Some are mechanical and others are electric. You may need a bridle of sorts to fix to your nose wheel but other than that, it would be perfect for you. I have a 70 odd year old friend who's wife manipulates their van as he's had a stroke.
  10. One wonders if the whip is for her or the horse.
  11. Welcome mate. Please tell us a bit more about yourself as your opening post is more for your own benefit rather than other forumites. Nice gryo though.
  12. Actually, she plays the Pricalo
  13. Sorry Skee, haven't been following your thread. What I was referring to was your flying experience behind the D motor, but you haven't got that far yet it seems.
  14. It makes a change but I enjoyed the music.........................this time.
  15. Skee, would you please start another thread about your experience with the D-motor. We don't hear much about it other than the early prototype threads.
  16. Perhaps this should be in the 'how low can you go?' thread. , different site.
  17. Looks very much like Serg's design that I was following until he suddenly stopped corresponding. I believe I have up-loaded all these pic's and more, previously.
  18. Ian, please remember the tried and tested KISS principle. What Tradky and you are proposing is all very clever but most of your members are down to earth guys, not super execs flying turbo prop tin cans. It's not for us. I realize that running this site is costing you a lot but spending more in the way you're proposing, will not recover your current outlay, IMHO.
  19. not sure if this is the right forum but still. Interesting new way to join wood. Not likely to be used in aircraft me thinks. http://www.wimp.com/bonding-wood-with-linear-friction/
  20. It sure has changed a lot since my time. As to it's effectiveness these days, only, god forbid, another war will tell.
  21. Some poor camera work but..............................enjoy https://www.warhistoryonline.com/military-vehicle-news/spitfire-comes-rescue-vulcan-bomber-scottish-airshow.html?src=fba&type=int&page=who
  22. She should have known, after all said and done, her client bounced first.
  23. Hirth F30! See below. http://www.rotaryforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3500
  24. What's a 'cliff face' or a cave? I was raised in the desert.
  25. Oh dear, have I dropped you in it Bex? Sorry.
