    Hi all I am considering replacing the original Microair 760 VHF Comm with a TRIG TY91 Radio which uses the existing Panel hole in myJab. Without going into the reasons for the swap, I am asking if anyone has been using the TRIG for a while and how it compares to the Microair. Thanks

    Yes, I changed from a single cup to a double setup a few weeks ago and havent had a problem since. The previous single cup did bounce off a few times, always at the wrong moment! Heavy landing????.....whats that haha

    I have not noticed any darkening of the image when played back. The Nflightcam Website gives a full rundown of tnis and other products they have for in flight photography

    Photo above works well at the top of the Windscreen with Audio Cable velcro d around top of the door. Camera can be moved around. The Suction cup setup is lighter than the big heavy RAM Suction cup. Time will tell how it goes

    Great videos thanks Kevin. Yes the Jab cabin roof is difficult to get a compromise between outside view and my ugly head in the shot!!

    Its a round plastic lens that fits over the camera lens and filters out that annoying prop slow motion movement that gets picked up in flying videos. Its a common filter called an ND8. Camera shops have them.

    Hi all I have Gopro Hero 4 Camera with Prop Filter and the NflightCam Cable to record intercom and Radio chatter. Just wanting to see what others have done sucessfully regarding mounting the camera without obstructing forward view and keep audio cables out of sight. Ive tried suction cup mounts on side windows and front windscreen in the upper corner, and found that the suction cups tend to dislodge in flight over time.

    Thats my set up as well. Hasnt let me down in 5 years, and good support from the Supplier Lightflying.

    Thanks for that info. Ive now replaced my landing lights with LEDs from Bunnings and no issue with Radio interference with lights on both Wings.

    My 2200 Gen3 is running fine on Avgas since new in 2014. Leakdowns all good and am getting 14 lph in cruise at around 2850 RPM. Oil and filter change every 25 hours using Shell W100 Plus and little or no oil between oil changes. Maintenance always in accordance with the Jabiru Schedule. Smooth and quiet, no complaints.

    There are a few GPS receivers (not antennas) that Bluetooth to your ipad. I use one called a DUALXGPS150 and there is another one called GARMIN GLO, Both work very well and are not expensive. Have a look at website SPORTYS PILOT SHOP.COM and they have detailed descriptions and reviews of these products

    Thanks Nev, this was a sudden and erratic dial pointer movement lasting about 30 seconds which has never happened before. First thought that the pointers may have rubbed together. Flight conditions was light chop on descent when it occurred.
