  1. The large Clamback & Hennessy Hangar is now occupied by Sydney Seaplanes. The whole south west corner of the airport is being levelled for Industrial development.
  2. Thanks, done that but photo still ends up in the reply section. I must be doing something wrong. I see most of the other ads have photo at top, will keep trying....
  3. There is an excemption i believe, for a RAA Cert holder to fly a RAA School aircraft away from a class D airport but must return to that same airport. Someone correct me if is wrong thanks
  4. And how do you put a photo on the top section of an ad? When I hit ADD FILE it puts the photo in the REPLYsection. Thanks
  5. Also the old Schofields Building and Chieftain Buildings have been Bulldozed! I think the Whitworth Aviation Office seems to be deserted.
  6. Thanks Kyle. I have the Trig Transponder which in 6 years has never been a problem and no issues passing calibration checks. Your comment WORKS MOST OF THE TIME however makes me wonder??
  7. Hi all I am considering replacing the original Microair 760 VHF Comm with a TRIG TY91 Radio which uses the existing Panel hole in myJab. Without going into the reasons for the swap, I am asking if anyone has been using the TRIG for a while and how it compares to the Microair. Thanks
  8. Can you advise where this requirement is stated?...thanks
  9. Yes, I changed from a single cup to a double setup a few weeks ago and havent had a problem since. The previous single cup did bounce off a few times, always at the wrong moment! Heavy landing????.....whats that haha
  10. Above is setup in my Jab. Ipad Mini secured to side window with double suction cup. Running Avplan in Portrait mode
  11. I have not noticed any darkening of the image when played back. The Nflightcam Website gives a full rundown of tnis and other products they have for in flight photography
  12. Photo above works well at the top of the Windscreen with Audio Cable velcro d around top of the door. Camera can be moved around. The Suction cup setup is lighter than the big heavy RAM Suction cup. Time will tell how it goes
  13. Great videos thanks Kevin. Yes the Jab cabin roof is difficult to get a compromise between outside view and my ugly head in the shot!!
  14. Its a round plastic lens that fits over the camera lens and filters out that annoying prop slow motion movement that gets picked up in flying videos. Its a common filter called an ND8. Camera shops have them.
  15. Hi all I have Gopro Hero 4 Camera with Prop Filter and the NflightCam Cable to record intercom and Radio chatter. Just wanting to see what others have done sucessfully regarding mounting the camera without obstructing forward view and keep audio cables out of sight. Ive tried suction cup mounts on side windows and front windscreen in the upper corner, and found that the suction cups tend to dislodge in flight over time.
  16. Thats my set up as well. Hasnt let me down in 5 years, and good support from the Supplier Lightflying.
